Nobody will beat you or query if you join the Army, go ahead but don't cover up evil. How will you say just one person died in lekki or it was all drama? Leave where you're now and go to hospitals in lekki, go to luth. Pls stop playing politics with human lifes.

I'm very disappointed dat some persons would even defend d murderous act!

All we can do now is to pray that God should install new brain in Buhari head so that he can handle the situation in the country wisely. The more I remember Buhari is still our president, the more I get frustrated.

You even said the soldiers only shot to the sky and all the bullet wounds were from some elements from your village but Army denied ever sending soldiers, sanwolu confirm in his speech that soldiers were deployed to lekki.

They arrested the soldiers that made video that his colleagues should not oblige when there being ordered to shoot civilians

Please, let's all a take a chill pill.
It's almost understandable for people to get very emotional about what went down yesternight.
Even if it's one person they killed, it's not war yet, so the military shouldn't have interfered.
Now, It's unavoidably and painfully clear that we're operating anarchy in the guise of democracy.
Please, try and say a prayer for the souls and families of the departed.
They didn't die for Nigeria.
Nigeria KILLED them.
Peace.

Mr Man, why those insultive and abusive words? You need to take chill pills, okay? And why would you think Sanwo olu was right even after you saw the live video and Sanwo olu who denied at first that there was no fatality and now he came out to say just one person was confirmed dead..........
See bro, It's all politics and Nigerian army bleeped up big time, let's just admit that
RIP to the departed souls

weve been praying and that’s been our problem... The army should have never operated on the streets of Lagos.. the command for this flowed down from the topmost top...Our anger is with the leadership.. and something needs to be done about it... that’s why I said earlier today that once the leaders change, things might get better.. it’s time to stop praying and start acting

It's still wrong for them to shoot in d air, apart from d fact dat crowds may stamped on each other while trying to flee for their lives, effect of gun shots alone can kill people with heart n BP problems. It can also triggers IED (Intermittent explosive disorder)!

I totally condemn what the military did yesterday!

Some of you all are going to be worst if you mistakenly get into the army.
Yesterday they are multiple videos showing the murders from different angles. Apart from those videos they are insta live footage showing multiple dead bodys
Apart from the videos from the scenes of the event. You can see videos from hospitals with multiple people fataly shot. There is audio to verify that those are casualties from the protests grounds.
This is simple analytics.
As a prospective lieutenant if you can't do simple research to make a rational decision on what happened yesterday then when you get there you are 101% surely going to go rogue in the system.

International bodies have also verified what happened yesterday to be accurate.
Some of this bodies will not just jump into conclusions.
Don't allow sentiment cloud your judgment because you are going to be making alot of judgments that will determine the safety of your life, that of your men and obviously that of the whole nation when some of you eventually become officers.

I see gross incompetence already and you guys are not even in the system yet. Remember your oath is to protect the nation first and not to any commander in chief.
Your commander could be mad, that does not mean you will execute his orders.
Images might lie. Live verifiable videos don't.
You are signing up to protect your nation.
Act like it. You are not joining a cult.

I dislike it when people come out to say make we pray make things better, don't get me wrong, I believe in God and I pray regularly, but come to thing about it, nations that are not as religious or have this godly mentality that we carry are doing well and see relative peace cos of their sincerity in doing the right thing and attitude towards human life not minding any social or ethical divide, they channel their thoughts towards advancing their nation and the well-being of its citizens. But the sad news is here in our beloved country, we are quick to say let pray, even though we know where the problem is or what it is, we are quick to turn a blind eye due to our social, ethnic and religious divide. We preach love but still hate, we say pray but still prey on the defenseless amongst us. See!!! till we drop our cap of religiousness and put on the crown of patriotism to nation and humanity, we will only end up repeating history, setting a bad precedence for our unborn children, leaving an inheritance of divide and hatred for follow country men and brother.

Fake news and pictures fine but how do you explain the overwhelming patients at hospitals around that area last night /early this morning. Alot of people were admitted with bullet wounds.

I admit that some of those pictures are fake and exagerated tho

This made remember something a long time ago in Maiduguri, there was a bomb blast, lots of people where killed ( personally helped moved some of the bodies). The then deputy governor came out on TV and said Not a A SINGLE PERSON was killed.

Did you know, even at that time, there was a corpse being moved from behind him?.

Why cant people just say the truth ehn...why is it so hard?

To me this is another reason for me to join the army. If I happen to be among I know is going to to be -1 bad element +1 good element of change.

This country will be great through us!
