He should also deploy Anti Riot policemen to use rubber bullets instead of life bullets.
This will quell the thuggery.
Let him also announce the substantial reduction in the cost of governance i.e Salaries and allowances of the president,. VP, senators, rep members etc must be slashed.
In his announcement, he should also mention incentives that would be beneficial to the common man.
Note that people can see the affluence of our leaders in the midst of the hardship and proclaimed bad economy. They can see the hypocrisy and insincerity of the leaders that policies are made without due consideration to the common man

Mr. President should also announce those who had been penalised for the atrocities committed by SARS so far.
