Generation utilities do 3 phase power, they use synchronous induction gen sets that obviously have a phase lag between the current and voltage produced at the end of their snout This phase lag adds to power loss and power outputs. I saw your posts of some Hitachi turbines/gens don't know why those guys hired you if you think power comes from socket outlets.
I used to install power factor correction mainly of capacitor banks and inductors for a living BTW. And PLCs.
