Why Do Nigerian Security Forces Shoot Peaceful Protesters But Ignore Arsonists? by OreMI22(op):
I have noticed a truly terrible pattern of Nigerian security forces. Those who protest peacefully within the ambits of the law are immediately shot and they go to town to cover the atrocities.

On the other hand, when they encounter looters, arsonists or even Boko Haram terrorists who are violently destroying lives and properties, they simply hold their fire or even disappear entirely from the scene to avoid a confrontation.

The question now is; does it make sense to protest peacefully in Nigeria if you don't want to be shot?

What is the agenda of those in charge of our security services? Why did they kill peaceful protesters demanding for better pay and conditions of service for our security forces, then they allowed looters and arsonists to have a field day? Who is in charge of Nigerian security services?

because the arsonists are their agent who were unleashed to cause mayhem so that they will justify bringing SARS back.

EXACTLY!

Those that sent them to disrupt the peaceful protest also secretly withdrew security men to make sure their arsonists succeed in creating anarchy.

I agree because as the looters and arsonists operated, the security forces mostly watched them unconcerned. Loot at Adamawa and Taraba as real examples.

However when protesters congregate, you immediately hear them shooting people.

Soon protesters in Nigeria will learn the Syrian and Libyan way of confronting security forces.
