Also android 11 update list, this was gotten from xiaomi official group on telegram.

So i decided to share them, for us(xiaomi users) to be aware of it. Xiaomi developers brought out the list. However, xiaomi haven't yet announced it, officially.

Read the bottom left side well. The reason, Redmi and redmi note only receive one year update. It's because, they are budget devices.

See as dem downgrade rn8

For the price you paid it worths it

That's why i went for mi9t, instead of the redmi note 8 pro despite having a better processor and even cheaper price than the mi 9t. Because it's in the premium category

But the miui update ain't bad either. Android 11 update didn't bring any ground breaking features like miui 12. So i think it worths it.

Samsung update policy is 2 years for budget devices, and 3 yrs Android update for premium devices (S,N,Z,A5X and above).

I think it's good to know the update policy, so you know exactly what phone you will buy next.

I actually think it's a very good idea.
Apple is also building a factory where they will recycle all their products, i think.
We need to minimize waste and people in the apple ecosystem are usually on the wealthier side (so they can afford to just request for charger if they don't already have one) but most importantly they're usually already in the apple ecosystem so they probably have a charger already.

So why waste resources and lose the opportunity to save money by giving them chargers.

Moreover, they're setting up wireless charging as the standard which is very welcome.

Omg, see how many pages I've written on top charger matter

You might have to test the VPN in another phone. If it still happens then maybe the VPN was designed like that.

What is the name of the VPN?

Xiaomi don't have an official group on TG, albeit those that are opened by Xiaomi moderators from mi community that Xiaomi don't even have idea about. Also, that screenshot is fan made (Xiaomi.eu and techindeep) to be precise and they don't have any affiliation with Xiaomi bar the custom MIUI ROMs they make for selected devices. All speculations till confirmed by Xiaomi themselves. This list have been around for close to 4 months now.

It's a good try sha

Before you reply or quote a post, think deeply on what you intend to put out, ur post might be discouraging for someone who want everyone to learn or have an idea on whats going on about something, no dey form i too know or i don see am for over 200years bla bla bla. It kills dreams, also learn to encourage others and remember this NO ONE KNOWS IT ALL

Lol. It's not. You'll be surprised when Xiaomi announces the real one. Those TG group and channels are run by third party individuals, mostly not affiliated to Xiaomi in anyway. No be today screenshots don dey fly around about updates. But I get your drift sha.
