Personally, I think anyone that truly makes the kind of coin that OP claims should just continue to build the source of income.

I sometimes regret staying too long in the USA when I look at all the missed opportunities in Nigeria while I was gone.

Nigeria education is time wasting. I will take a two years program as opposed to five or four years in Nigeria. no strike and better quality of education. although more expensive.

Again Canada is not a bed of roses. many graduates, immigrants and even native Canadians are still looking for jobs. Hardship dey everywhere but I prefer to suffer in Canada

Okay just a few questions:
the years of experience must it be related to what you studied or any paid work experience ?
For eg you know how engineers work as bankers and vice Versa.

Relocation most times is not about the money. Some get good jobs some dont. But nothing beats staying in a system that works, good health care( buhari amd family use foreign health care imagine), good opportunity to change careers etc. You are also guaranteed a good future for your kids. I have not met any Nigeria regreting since i came here. This is me coming home at 11.30 pm last week without any fear of my safety. Nothing beats that bro

Look well before you leap..Western countries are great but not for everybody. You need a very good job to live a comfortable life in any western country. Many Naija men living in single room for 30, 40 year inside London, UK. It is not well.

What i love about these developed countries is the quality of life.
Good schools for your kids teaching modern curriculum with good facilities and qualified teachers.
Good roads, traffic laws in place.
Good hospitals, 247 emergency service. Low infant and maternal mortality rate and you don't need to be a millionaire or a politician go enjoy these services.
Lower crime rates. etc

you were able to see opportunities because you have money from earning the foreign currency. When people are based here, capital becomes a problem, they have not even fed well or handled their basics talkless of having spare cash to see opportunities. So staying abroad for long made you have the wherewithal to see opportunities and invest in them.

Prepare yourself with savings and investments.

Have a plan and strategy to make money either through professional work or skilled labor like Truck driving, Agric work, Care giving, but you need to be certified in Canada, so prepare for that too!

And if you can add some side hustles you will be okay. Most importantly plan for every situation while here in Nigeria.
