Sorry, haven't been online, take him to the hospital to rule out an infection

If it's not an infection it may be teething drama, but it's safer to rule it out

Modified: I see baby is better. For next time, remember BRAT diet for firming up poo: Banana, Rice, Applesauce and toast. Once your baby is pooing loose stools with no other symptoms a diet change works wonders.

The reverse is our case
What can I give to soften poop
She takes pap, nutribom and cerelac
I don't make them too thick
Drinking water is always a struggle
I give warm water in the morning
Today is day5 and no poop, I'm worried and it's usually hard when it takes this long.
I've given warm water today, nothing yet
She's 8m

yeah the fake diapers, is cheap sold 4k or so. that diaper is sh,it, doesnt absorb nada..leaks poo and urine sometimes..causes rashes as well. original huggies is abt 26k, super absorbent, and doesnt cause rashes.

use original huggies with the pure huggies wipes..and rashes would be a thing of the past

Thank you. That's what i'm using now

What reason did the person give for Nan not being good?
I personally don't like Nan because I feel it is too sweet.
SMA is good.
Aptamil is good too. I use Aptamil.
It all depends to what you can afford and what baby likes. If baby prefers Nan, please get that for him or her.

Ive heard about prunes but I don't know where you'll get if you're in Naija. Try Pears, oatmeal and food rich in veggies (green pea puree)

Hello Mothers and Pops.

My 6month old son has been stooling since Tuesday (6 times in 24h)... At first I felt it was the potato and beans I gave him cos the poo was yellowish. I started giving him ors and zinc plus plenty water. He loves water. Then I introduced SMA gold to his pap and the stool worsened plus changed color to greenish black strewn with mucus. I noticed the change in his stooling and stopped the SMA gold but it has continued.
I don't know what to do again... He has lost a bit of weight but his playfulness is still topnotch. His apetite and sleeping is normal.
What else can I do to stop the stooling or should I take him to see a doctor?

Thank you for your response.

Hope he is better now? My apologies for not seeing this on time.

Hello Everyone, I am happy to be here o, I’m coming from the pregnant women thread.
I am a FTM and we are 6weeks post CS.
Please o Mamas, this Abidec, when is the right time for a baby to start taking it? My mum has been mentioning it to me. I have no knowledge about it or any other drugs for children.
We’ll be visiting the hospital tomorrow anyways, I felt it’s in the place of the doctors to tell any drug or multivitamin a child should be taking.
Please Mamas educate me biko.

Please mamas, my 8 months old baby is getting really active and I'm kinda not prepared for this at all. I literally scream all day for one thing or the other.. It's either he's climbing the window, or hitting me on my face with his strong and large hands, or pulling my hair or pouring water on my bed or biting me with his toothless gums or jumping so hard or wanting to touch the ceiling fan, or wanting to put his tiny fingers inside a live extension box or wanting to touch his poop and play with it or chewing at my phone or hiding the remote, or wanting to watch only jimjam or urinating in my pillow or scratching/pinching our neighbour's daughter.
I WASN'T prepared for all these at this early age.

Please what do I give him to replace burnt calories as I want him to remain chubby and he burns a lot. Help me with food with good calories please.

I am having a good laugh cheesy cheesy leave that young man abeg or what else do you want him to be doing na? and please get prepared urgently o.

Please keep anything that can cause injury out of his reach. He shouldn't have access to his poo or any dirty thing around. He's just been inquisitive.
As per the pinching, he's innocent and just playing, bear with him.

Just feed him well, most children tends to slow down on the weight gain due to their activities especially when they start crawling. Welldone ma

Its not compulsory to use multivitamin if your baby has good appetite and is gaining weight appropriately

Good afternoon Mamas in the house!
Please Mamas, we had our 6weeks immunization today, and amongst other things she was injected and given to orally, I saw ROTA 1 on the paper and it wasn’t administered to her.
While we were about leaving, one of the nurses walked up to me in secret and said she gives the ROTA stuff but it’s 9,000 Naira. She was speaking in hiding and said it’s also given to children At 6weeks but because it’s expensive, the government doesn’t add that to the free immunization.

My question is, if this ROTA is important, can’t it be announced in general that it is but it isn’t free? Why must it be done in secret?
What is the importance of it and is that the price in all hospitals? Please your inputs will be appreciated
Ps: we reside in Abuja

She is telling the truth, why she was hiding, I don't know, maybe they don't allow them do pp grin

Rota vaccine is to protect against rotavirus (causes diarrhoea). Some people don't give their kids and nothing happens so it's eventually up to you. I can't speak for that because both my kids took it (I'm not into taking such risks and thankfully it was within my budget)

Last part Abuja mamas can advise better. There was a govt hospital they were giving free in Lagos at some point but I don't know if they still do. Who knows, there may be a place in Abuja that it is cheaper or free

PS: it's 2 doses so if you're negotiating price note that (6 & 10 weeks)

Hello mommies.

I supply onions in bags from here in the north.
This is period of hike in the price of onions in the south east, south south and south west, interested mommies should grab the opportunity of buying onions from the north.

Please, dm me if you are interested in buying onions from the north to sell in the south.
