I can't deny everything you have said , But that can only happen in Borno and the north east, soldiers in Borno are over stretched, most of them haven't seen their families for years , [b]many of them are mentally unstable , the rotation principle is not working again, because soldiers and officers are not much .....apart from Borno and maybe north east , where soldiers are under warfare , tell any other state of such ??

Respect the army, they are awake so that you can sleep in borno

Be deceiving yourself ... If they sleep, they'll be the first casualty when BH come calling..

Where is the army whenever villages are under attack by terrorists. They now act like the police, coming to the scene after the terrorists are long gone.

Most times, these army guys and their style/orientation na problem to the civilians around them..

Let them stay in the barracks..

People respect powers they don't see all the time. You can use here(nairaland) to judge the respect you think Nigerians have for the NA.

We are reaching a consensus small small. The mounting of roadblocks has been there in the South even before Shekau knew that Boko Haram will be in existence. Or else you don't know anything about the southern part of Nigeria.

I don't think there is any civilized society where the military is used as in Nigeria. You can even call your military friends to come to my house and bully me, and they will stupidly assemble in my street wearing their uniform. For land dispute they appear, for market you see them. Even for Delta you see them in the streets operating for Asaba, I'm yet to see Boko Haram there.

Nigeria Army due to their actions in Nigeria is a disgrace to what a national military should be. Till they change for better, they still are.

This is one hell of a problem bro.. These stupid fvcks should stay in the barracks and stop interfering in civil issues such as the ones you highlighted..
They feel the need to be needed by forcing themselves on Nigerians..

They've been facing the North... though with little progress... I wouldn't be nice to allow anarchy take over other parts of the country...

I agree but that should be the job and sole responsibility of the police because the soldiers are running out of personnel to mount every state!

No sir...that authority is for external aggression and not for internal security!
You don't need authority as a police officer to bring down crime or hostility...You need communication!
This is why there has been a clamour for policing to be localized!

Don't mistake our gallant soldiers who are fighting with their whole heart for the nation with those stupid, senseless generals who trade the lives of the gallant junior officers and soldiers ... Let it be on a normal ground , no sabotage, no govt sponsor, no leak in intelligence info to Boko haram , Walahi , if Boko haram last more than a month , pls call me a bastard... Who is Boko haram for Nigerian Army ?, Its just a nonsense Boko haram biz, being traded with soldiers and junior officers lives...no soldiers is afraid of Boko haram , but they are only afriad of the generals who leak info to the Boko haram

If the police is doing their job well , u wouldn't see the Army on the street, and not until you move to the north or Niger Delta , unmay not appreciate the Soldiers despite their short comings due to poor leadership

If u don't want to respect the NIGERIAN ARMY, atleast, respect yourself
