I don't think that anybody says that Sanwo Olu ordered the millitary.

All he needs to do is request for help from the army, perhaps from the President or the COAS.
(Which they have the right to decline of course)

Watch the cnn video, you will know the Lagos State governor have said it all. Who is the C-C of the army. The Nigeria army are just looking for who to blame on this issue. I know series of meetings would have been going on, to draw their strategy on how to sweep this issue under the carpet. Remember Nigeria army denied being there before.

Exactly. I no dey watch local channels except chsnnelstv . Even the channels tv had been cowed by the federal government so, they're being careful what they say to avoid sanctions. The government of the day detests the truth because they came to power on the platform of lies. I first watched the shooting incidents on CNN and was like, could this be in Nigeria? They are busy accusing some of the protesters of overestimating the incident and number of casualties but they failed to realise the fact that, CNN, BBC and Aljazeera reporters were also present at the venue from the beginning of the protest, up till when the shooting started. They were those who exposed our government to the outside world and not the protesters or local media as they foolishly claimed

the statement is the governor invited the army not ordered. which is plausible as its lagos state that was loosing money not the federal government.

On my own part,I don’t believe that sanwoolu did invite them. There is no way Buratai would say Buhari ordered the shooting when he knows that Sanwoolu can’t do anything if he accuses him.

There’s no direct line of authority with the army for Sanwoolu, but they are a member of his security council, and he can make requests of them.

But read the news to know that army is talking about there deployment after the Lekki shooting and the burning and destruction that followed it. From the obvious, army hasn't admitted to being at the premises of Lekki shooting, neither have they owned up to it
