The height of irresponsibility? How can you let your car run out of battery on the road?

What's the point of buying an electric vehicle when you're still using petrol generator to charge it.
Double wahala.
Why not just buy a petrol engine.

A full charge is like 300 miles on a Tesla.

It charges fully when plugged in overnight.

To and from work for me is about 13 miles a day,

Meaning if I charge fully one night I'd use the car for maybe 20 days?

An hour of charge adds 32 miles meaning I can use it for 2 days after charging for an hour.

How much fuel does a big gen taken in an hour?

300 miles in my car would consume about N8,000 fuel,

Which gen would consume 8,000 fuel overnight?

Before we mention lagos traffic check the screenshot attached.

Once enough cheap used units are available Nigerians that hate buying fuel would dump Corolla.

Some of U jus talk anyhow... Do U know what irresponsibility is? Do U know if he embarked on a long road trip? For him to pack properly by the side of the road to charge means he anticipated requiring a charge on d trip he embarked.

Come on zip it. Do you mean to tell us that he doesn't know the number of miles his car can cover in a single charge that he can not properly pull into a mart or restaurant to recharge, that he has to wait for it to trip off on the road under a scorching hot sun? Does your car running out of fuel on the road not a sign of irresponsibility so long as your fuel gauge is up and running? I question your sanity young man.

OMOH... rechargeable cars are not meant for long journeys especially in Nigeria.

If you see me owning a Tesla, then it must come installed with a solar panel on top.

A mean how could I be traveling with gen in my booth, the load alone will increase D rate at which the battery gets drained grin

People talking about putting a gen in the booth

You add more weight to the car and effectively reduce your range

Until Nigeria has enough superchargers / charging stations, no need to buy a Tesla but if you must... make sure you have enough charge for a round trip. Simple
