I think Balogun should be made captain
Exactly, I don't know how troost even got ahead of him, maybe due to him being benched. Though osimhen is talented, he is still a baby in the SE.

All these hate for Maduka, where did you guys put this energy when Rohr installed Uzoho a team B player with little experience as number 1 ahead of Ezenwa who was very decent for us through out the WC qualifiers? Even Ajiboye who did well at CHAN deserved a look in ahead of Uzoho but Rhor didn't even take a closer look at him.

U are already terming it hate without looking objectively at the facts...
Uzoho and Maduka case are different..
When we called Uzoho from Deportivo B, how many quality goalkeepers did we have available? Where was Almapasu, Yakubu and Tobias? undecided

Nobody said Maduka is a crap player or anything.. the point is that Rohr should have given Alampasu and Yakubu a fair minute of game time to prove their quality just like Maduka got...Because when you put all factors into consideration, Maduka himself hasn't done anything to justify being ahead of those guys..

This is nonsense.. Dessers that was born in Belgium, how many goals did he score before he was invited for the last games? undecided

Just the way he started all World Cup games and didn’t register a goal ,we all know the French coach will always play giroud ahead of others better players ,thanks to griezman and mbappe for making the French attack work and covering the nonsense giroud played

Batshuayi was never a starter at Belgium and batshuayi was active in 2018 ogbeni

Which club was bashuayi active ?

Seeing a lot of brothers saying Osimhen's goal was ruled out for offside, when it was actually because the free-kick taker took two touches before delivering the cross.

Also, Osimhen was not carded for the actual fouls but his reaction to both fouls.

osimhen captain? On what grounds? Someone who has barely stayed two years in the team. Osimhen has a questionable anger management, even fighting leon, yet you think it is good factor for a captain, that's a senseless action. As if he's the Super eagles idol or what?

Rubbish nonsense talk. How long has Ekong been in the team? U people only make decisions based on characters u like.

I want soldiers on my side when I enter battle. Why can't he be a captain? Show me an example of true leadership shown by any other member of the team.

Nigerians should stop being p*ssys. Is he picking on people or standing up for himself? Leon clattered him in training and he stood up for himself, simple as that.

He is the realest leader on the super eagles. He makes sure they play the game the right way and he won't allow anyone get messed with. The rest don't have the characteristics to lead a country like Nigeria.

Osimhen needs to start banging in goals. He's a 90 million striker o. He's not there to create chances for his team mates .Anytime I see borusia Dortmund scoring goals, my first instinct is always Haaland and most times, it is so. Even Bayern (lewandoski), psg (mbappe), Lazio (Immobile), Juventus (Ronaldo) and inter Milan (lukaku). I just checked livescores now and I noticed Dortmund had scored the second goal. I already knew it must be Haaland, and so it was. Osimhen need to start doing this.

If we are going by caps we know who to give it to. If we are going by how long, we also know that one. But what we have here is who like who.

Let the man use his passion jare. It just shows how much he cares about winning. I have known about his mean streak for years now. Diego Costa, Zlatan and Luis Suarez are all the same way. Victor is even better because he will never put his hands (or teeth grin) on anybody.

He will learn to channel it but I will never agree that he should stop being passionate.

I saw this piece somewhere.

Statistics That Prove That Victor Osimhen Is Failing To Live Up To Expectation.

studio.opera.com

Checkout Statistics That Prove That Africa Most Expensive Player Victor Osimhen Is Failing To Live Up To Expectation.

Victor Osimhen transfer from French ligue 1 club Lille to Italian Serie A club Napoli was unarguably the biggest transfer of the summer for a player of African descent.

Napoli purchased Victor Osimhen who finished as the top scorer for French club Lille for a fee of €55 million and other add ons that would see the fee rise to €70 million.

The transfer between Victor Osimhen and Napoli lingered for some weeks, but finally saw break light after Victor Osimhen changed his agent.

Victor Osimhen joined the Napoli team with a huge responsibility to lead the lines in terms of scoring goals, and was handed the prestigious number 9 jersey.

Victor Osimhen immediately made an instant impact and showcased his talents when he was introduced during the preseason friendly on 28th August 2020 against Italian fourth division club L’Aquila by scoring a hat trick in the space of 8 minutes, Osimhen scored the opener in the second minute, scored again in the fourth minute and completed his hat trick in the 8 minute.

Victor Osimhen also continued his perfect pre season form with another hat trick against third-tier team Teramo on Friday, September 4, 2020. he scored the first , third and fourth goal of the match to help Napoli win by a 4 goal margin.

But since the Italian Serie A resumed for the 2020/2021 season, Africa's most expensive player Victor Osimhen have failed to replicate the form he had in Lille, the form that made Napoli splash the huge amount of money to bring him to Italy.

His only Serie A goal this season was when he scored during Napoli's 4 - 1 victory against Atlanta.

Victor Osimhen have found it difficult to convert his chances at Napoli despite been surrounded with one of the best midfield in European football, a midfield that parade players with creativity and magic feet, players like lorenzo Isingne, Hirving Lozano, Dries Mertens and Romano.

Victor Osimhen frustrations in Napoli turned worst when he received a red card in Napoli's Europa league fixture against Spanish side Real Soceidad.

The super Eagles striker was booked by English referee referee Craig Pawson in the 81st minute of the Europa league match against Real Soceidad before receiving his first career red card 12 minutes later after he aggressively elbowed Real Soceidad defender Robin Le Normand while trying to control a David Ospina pass.

Victor Osimhen's 2020/2021 season statistics shows that despite playing for 358 minutes he have failed to score more than once.

With one goal in his 6 appearances for Napoli, fans of Napoli are gradually loosing patience with the Super Eagles striker.

what are your thoughts about Victor Osimhen's travail at Napoli?

Please like and comment.

garbage write up!. How many chances the so called creative players has made for Osimhen? Those creative players that dont even know how to pass the ball but to shoot direct at goal na that one be creative. The only way osimehn can score goal is to create the Chances for himself like he did agaisnt Atalanta cos those Werey players not ready to create chances for him at all. They want to score.. Finito

be calming down. Osimhen won't captain the Super eagles anytime soon. At least not until the team is made up of his mates or till you become the SE coach wink. So while you wait, you can make him national team captain of your PES or FIFA game. You wouldn't need to shalaye there smiley

. Your points are valid. But looking at it closely, no individual wants to lose be it friendly or not . Rohr sees these guys in training as well as the goal keeper coach. As a professional , I believe there are reasons beyond sentiments that is making them pick maduka. No matter the sentiments , quality doesn't hide. Even if you want to give chance , the player must give somw level of confidence to the coaches to earn it. It is earned .

I still don't understand why Azeez should be on the standby list. It was glaring we had issues with the midfield in the friendlies. Despite the great game Aziz had in the couple of matches under Rohr, not up to 45 mins over 2 games and having a huge impact even registering a solid assist, Rohr still ignored him, na wa o. For me it is disappointing.

Craig Pawson is English, so he understood everything Osimhen said.
