Chill and remain calm, you'll definitely get a mail and SMS when it is ready
The protest affected their processing also. My visa was approved on the 16th but I didn't get any mail/SMS until Wednesday afternoon, while someone that interviewed the same 16th got his own mail on Tuesday. I eventually picked it up yesterday afternoon. So just chill for now
Thanks So much . But you know it’s not easy to remain calm like that....One’s mind will be there

Have you ever used this before? It always says no status update available.

I enter A0********

Or am I entering it the wrong way? Should the A be removed?

I did my interview on the 13th and I am yet to get a mail from them.

However, people that did theirs on the 16th and 19th respectively have gotten mails.
Please have they later emailed you that your passport is ready for pick up

Don't do it! I repeat, don't do it!
Chances that you will be refused is very high.
If you want a change of career, plan it well.
Getting an undergraduate degree at 32, is a no no.

I hope you don't have admission or interview date already. If you do, just cancel it. And start making plans on graduate degree.

Thank you so much @fairheart. I appreciate it

what the condition attached to the offer ?

Also got two admissions with conditional offer about me completing some prerequisite courses upon resumption and it was stated on the form I20. Do you think it’s an issue. Although my 3rd admission didn’t state any prerequisites or conditional offer. Do you think such conditional admission can hinder visa been granted? Pls has anyone been granted a visa in such situation? Thanks

If it because you are switching then I think it's ok. You just have to clearly explain it when asked

Generally speaking, NO. But this is not how the VO think. In his mind, you should be pursuing graduate degree, not undergraduate.
If you have been on this thread for over 10 months, then you shoot yourself in the leg. Were you not here when we discuss the application of the guy that was refused in Ukraine, about a month ago? We started that some age are not suitable for undergraduate, at least not before you get the visa.

You said you are a professional? Are you saying you already have a first degree? If so, why taking 2 steps backward? Why not move forward with advanced degree?

I hope I'm safe going for a new undergrad at 20 but will be 21 when I start
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Legit215(m): 11:02am On Oct 31, 2020
Is this conditional offer for masters or undergraduate.
If it's undergraduate did you submit SAT, if you didn't then your school might give you a conditional offer to take some course's again like algebra or co.
If it's masters did you submit gre or the course they gave you to take again did you do it at undergraduate level.
With this known you will be able to know what to tell the vo.
Hope this helps.

Are you going for another bsc again or is your first?
You should expect questions like when did you finish high school, what have you been doing since then.
To be on a safer side you must be on some sort of funding.

Another BSC.

It's been 6 Years I finished high school. Finished bsc last DEC. I have 50% funding for the first semester. It will be renewed on the 2nd semester based on performance

Why another bsc?
Did you apply for the same course of study you did here in Nigeria

Mine is for Masters. I have a Bsc and Masters in construction but I want to switch to IT.
1st school gave provisional admission and states on I20 that I must complete CS503/500
2nd school states similar course prerequisite
3rd School states a diversity tuition waiver+ scholarship of $8400. Tuition balance is $16k but no prerequisite
4th school gave $500 off and GA is usually in second semester. No prerequisites. Tuition only is $9k.

My Questions: which of the above has a higher chance based on funding, conditional admissions and switching fields.
Thank you
