I am using Redmi 9 for the last 6 months.
I have observed that battery life is very good and work up to 5-6 hours continues during playing games.
And it goes up to 14-15 hours in normal uses.

does this phone get hot
and how good is redmi 9c

Under very heavy usage and charging simultaneously, it gets warm but that's normal. So avoid such because it isn't good for the battery. 9c is good but redmi 9 is better.

Does the 9c have good RAM management, can it switch between 2 or 3 apps effectively?

1. My battery drains fast
2. Charger stopped working 2 days after purchase
3. Recorded videos take up too much space

According to your points above

1. Can you post a screenshot of your battery stats and click on details as shown in the picture below. Poor mobile signal might be the culprit ... Also you don't need to activate battery saver yet as seen in your screenshot.

2. You will need to get another charger. Did it stop working or the panel burnt?

3. Thirdly this is normal. you will have to check the settings of the camera app and reduce the video quality so the videos aren't heavy or better still you can download an app from play store that can reduce video size.

The network signal is really bad. See how multicoloured it is. That's battery drainer.

I hope wifi scanning and Bluetooth scanning are off.
Also when using dual sim, make sure 4G isn't turned on on both sims. It's always preferable to set one sim to 2G.

I turned WiFi and Bluetooth scanning off and even turned my glo line off

I am guessing it's MTN. The only thing is probably to consider another network for browsing. And deactivate the battery saver option.

Let me supply you a good charger. I have a pickup point in Ikeja if you're in Lagos and delivery to your locale is possible for a token if you're outside Lagos.

I just noticed that the display on the note 6 pro is better than that of the Redmi 9 while watching movies. The note 6 pro resolution is clearer.
Re: Redmi 9 Users Thread by ProFuhrer: 12:24pm On Nov 02, 2020
Who knows how I can adjust the display contrast?

With battery saver on all the time you won't get optimal performance from your device.
