Just be honest in your interview. Many people who applied to only one school have gotten their VISA approved.

You can say you were given admission with full funding within two weeks of submitting your application, hence, there was no need to apply to any other school, since you've gotten what you want.

You are right, but yet, lack of SAT/ACT/IGCSE might still count against someone from an unknown Nigerian high school, since there's no way to gauge college readiness. US high school students are already taking AP/Honor classes.

She also asked if I have visited Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State before, which I answered NO but I'll be visiting soon. She said she's been there and she's wishing me good luck with my interview. This conversation helped me relax so much.

The VO has just opened (two other guys have started interviewing others, one was asking so many questions in which I was supposed to meet with him but within me, in my spirit, I was rejecting him.) God answered my prayers, bringing another VO for me.

Me: Ok sir

Yes, move your fund to your regular account. And be sure to explain that to the VO if per adventure he/she starts jacking your SOA looking for lump sum.

Thanks for the response, it's a lump sum as I have been moving from my savings account to the money market investment.
This is my fear exactly because if I move to my savings account, it's going to reflect a lump sum.

How much is in the account? What is the duration of the program? If personal funds cover 1 year of study, where would additional funds to complete the study comes from? While moving the funds to his regular account, these questions should be answered. Within just 3 minutes, the VO will consider these and weigh his credibility along.

Well, it depends on the school. My admission came with huge funding and everything was within two weeks.

I don't think there is a need to lie. Honesty matters a lot. There's no crime in applying to one University and applying to one University does not reduce your chances of getting your VISA approved.

This was pre covid..... in covid times this is now allowed. if your school tells you to print it this way then go ahead

It not a crime to apply to one school but it can work against you . At least my years been here I seen it . It just comes up as slightly unserious.

No job applicant who needs a job applies to only one job same with school admission . So if that school hadn't given you admission then you miss that whole academic semester ?. How can that be a sign of seriousness for a student .....

however yes some factors do make a person apply to one school so sometimes even serious student apply to one due to some circumstances. But the above in bold I have seen it work against . Although sometimes not in totality because when asked why only one school then it up to the applicant to articulate why that one school and some dont know how to answer that question well . Second question please: On The CGI website, it only gives the option of filling first name and last name. Can I put both my first name and middle name on the space for first name?
