Don't beg the police they'll come back. By the way if the Nigerian government was interested in development a good tech can do the job of those traffic officers.

Simple road signals/ rules they can not obey. Yet, Govt is to be blamed for every of their failure in life
which road signal you wan make dem obey when all the traffic lights have been vandalised by the irate youths? In Lagos, no single traffic light was spared. In such a situation, how do you expect motorists to be orderly? Just asking

It is government that do not provide something as simple and basic as electricity. Tell me which country still use human to control traffic in the Capital city? Have you ever imagined if Nigeria was to be like Canada where there is snow with temperature in sub-zero level who would be outside controlling traffic?

You people should understand what is going on.
The Security Officers are deliberately creating CHAOS, so that the populace can beg them to come back!
It is not even better when they were around, at least there is no extortion and killing of the innocent by armed Gunmen called Police

What Civil Society needs to do is organise and take over the responsibilities of these Criminals in Uniform and do it better, without all the criminality that they perpetuate.
And the Govt should stop paying them with out TAX, since the are no longer working

If it's that Mararaba Karu road, no need! Whether you deploy 1000 traffic wardens or law enforcement officers, there must still be traffic on that road.
I guess as much. That axis always experiences traffic gridlock, even during off-peack periods

They can still be orderly by using their common sense and organizing themselves

yes but not in such a situation as this. For instance, I was at Allen junction in the past week. All the street lights there have been damaged. Ordinarily, motorists don't encounter hitches with the traffic lights on around that area. Now, they struggle to cross to alausa, aromire and awolowo way.

Let's stop giving excuses - Nigerians have a discipline problem.....

The problem is everyone is in a hurry and too self centered to think collectively.

I am in Abuja and wonder what they are saying here. And as for the FRSC and VIO, may they never return IJN. They are as useless as the "P" in psychology.

they are deliberately doing this in order wards if you want us to work for you you have to deal with our excesses if we collect bribe or harass you dont complain so its either we learn to cope without them or as stupid as Nigerians are beg the thieves and armed robbers dressed as police men to come back be cause of traffic. if i may ask how may times have you seen police men trying to help with gridlock? most of the time its private individuals that get down from their cars to do all the navigating. Nigerians dont have sense wahali same way in 2023 you would still beg apc or pdp to save you when they are the ones responsible for the state of Nigeria
