There’s a story not often told, about Nigeria's Armed Forces Special Force (AFSF), an elite group of warriors whose operations were mostly shrouded in mystery.

Trained in Russia- Belarus in 2014, BH avoided contact with AFSF. 2nd was trained in Pakistan In 2017.

These guys just appeared and disappeared in the NE..
They should ve brought back..

I found out that people do that, yes, it's true, but you can't blame them, don't blame them. Nigerian military have never been lazy, they carry out successful missions as well. But you see, an average Nigerian soldier treats no civilian well. When you shoot or beat on injure unarmed people. They will forever feel belittled and hate you, the families you caused pain will hate you,as well as the hundreds on the street who witness the gruesome scene. It's not that Nigerians are the most ungrateful set of people. It's just that they have not been having good experiences with the military. So they even wish them death, because in their perspective, bh are less enemies than them. There is no way someone who has seen soldiers beat some one close to him like a child, dehumanize him, wound him or even kill him will ever support the military even if they rescue a thousand people. Americans soldiers don't brutalize citizens, Chadians soldiers have not had contact with Nigerians or have Nigerians heard of any gross misconduct with them, hence the support. It's all psychological, they're all effects and fallout. When you accuse people of being ingrates, consider what is happening in Nigeria and imagine that the person is a victim, then you may not see it that way. The only way a true solution can come is to collectively try to improve military relations with civilians. You don't force love or give reasons for love to be shown. LOVE COMES NATURALLY. It's all CAUSE and EFFECT.
Stop wasting ur time with them.
They know this already, they jst choose to be stubborn.

I do find it so hard to understand why a military personnel in Nigeria thinks been ruthless and brutal is one of the things associated with been a soldier.

Everything stop at the table of the president though. Imagine we have a serious president that wants all this things to end my brother. In just one month it will end.

Imagine as that soldier flog that civilian, the minister of defence release statement this morning asking the army authority to produce the soldiers at that checkpoint in less than 24hrs.

They should be discharge dishonorably from the army and charge to court. their platoon leaders and company commanders should be demoted by some years. Same for the police too, make the president send a bill to the NA that states that any military or paramilitary personnel that kills, whether is an accidental discharge or not, so far is not done for self defense the said personnel will be killed too. Any police officer that that can prove he was truly attack, but can't prove the attack would result to his death should be sentence to life in prison with hard labour.

The Nigerian military and paramilitary forces are both a voluntary organisation, so anybody not comfortable with the laws can resign.

There should be a law for the ones that harrass civilians too.

Only a sexually and emotionally frustrated human being behaves in such a barbaric manner.
This looks like a case of infantile behavior, you know that kind in primary school when you like a girl and instead of been confident enough to tell her, the fear of rejection makes you start abusing her, hoping that inflicting pain shows how powerful one is and hence the girl will come running to you with open arms.... It never works.... Its a psychological deformity. People usually grow out of it when they become more confident and secure in their self and body. They become confident enough to tell a girl what they want and how they want it, damn the consequences...
Its obvious, this is a case of a psychologically stunted man. An infant in a mans body.
So this soldier cant toast babe? see fine babe, toast now, why release all frustration on a civilian dressed in what ever way they choose to dress.
And forcibly cutting another man's hair, why? because you cannot grow out yours? this soldier is psychologically dented and demented.
These are some of the people who continue to show The NA in absolute bad light.
Respect is lost for any organization that continue to allow these random attacks on the people they're meant to serve and protect.
The NA must sanction this individual officer and those around him that permitted this crass, and senile torture.
We have seen The NA sanction erring officers, this soldiers sanction should be just as swift.
The NA cannot claim to not have seen this report.

The most annoying part of this is the fact that the army would probably just let it slide. They need alot of learning to do from NAF. This is pathetic.

Less than average, some, not all military personnel behave like this, same way, if some civilians are given the chance would act this same way.
Even within the military there are personnel tagged sadist, same way in the civilian life, there are also sadist.
One thing people don't know, military men are scared of buying useless job and it's very easy to buy job, because they don't know who people are, just speak to them with confidence, and not rudely , and let them assume you know someone higher than them, they would most likely respect themselves.
Of recent i drove into an army barrack, at the gate, the personnel at the gate saw me and started smiling, i was dressed in a long sleeve and pant trousers, looking like a banker....he asked me where i was going to, i told him i was going to a certain location to see an officer on course, and he said, bring something for me on your way back, me, i just flashed him a smile and drove off without answering.
One other mutual friend came to join us, he asked me, if the INT or whatever at the gate, asked me for money, i said yes, i knew going out, he would find that army personnel.
This mutual friend left before me, on my way out much later, i saw the same army personnel, and he approached me, felling entitled, wetin you carry come for me, just my reply of "bah welfare" had him running away, without him knowing who I'm, i called him back, his response was oga sir, don't worry sir, you can go sir, i called him again oga sir sorry sir, without me saying I'm a personnel or civilian.
I have friends i grew up with, that aren't officers, sometimes i meet them at some locations gate,i will want to personally give them something, they would decline, even though i know them personally, and even still sit out to drink with some of them, the reason is the same, the officers on duty, would say that they are collecting bribe, and wouldn't care if i know them personally, they would most likely dash them extra days.
Only those within the system or close to the system, know that military men are actually scared, some act with impunity like these ones in the video, but I'm still dying to understand the madness and village people following this soldiers in that video.

When you see the insane money the United States spends on its military, you expect results like these. That is why they are the best. I am also glad that, comparatively, with the little we have, the Nigerian military have been rescuing hostages from the claws of BH..

This guy said buhht.. many don't see the success

This is what I was telling someone. We can't expect the same results from US army from NA when those two are lightyears apart in funding.
But still the average Nigerian civilian sees a soldier as a tormenting machine who just wants to harass and beat him on the road so they really don't care if they die at the hands of ISWAP and BH.
But it all still bothers in the NA service Chief and MOD to take actions but they're too corrupt and religiously fanatical to do so. The gworo chewing president too isn't spared.

Tomorrow now DHQ, Will come out and tell us that this video is fake..that the soldier is not a personnel of NA

These are some of the things we are complaining about of NA...some people here know the truth, but they want to use "Patriotism" to cover up

Toju I dey vex for you..the way u are defending things that are very obvious. you know people are hating the military because of their maltreatment to civilians and you still cover it up with "we are not appreciating them" No be person wey show u love u go love back??

Haven't u seen people that are appreciating soldiers, I mean those ones in the frontlines, those ones that have in one way or the order done something good to them??

But you come down to the South South and East what they do is to intimidate and kill people that they are meant to protect..Now u see NA is reducing their requirements so as to get more people..why would people run away from serving their fathers land?? Why would people be wishing their soldiers death?? These are things you take into consideration.

Finally I really appreciate CAS, Under him, NAF has really turned to a professional Service, Kudos to him, I wish others can copy him.

How many times do people need to explain that Airforce don't work this way.

One reason why most people Even love NAF than NA.
Not that they are no good men in the NA or even police but the bad record the bad ones are setting up is overwhelming...

@Faithful007 I like ur point.
Unlike others who doesn't have anything reasonable to say just to call people names and sh!t..
I hope they do that, the army really needs to start acting on some of these videos, once one or two people are disciplined, the rest go take correction. All these things are not too hard. This videos are affecting them more than they might think.

But honestly speaking.. if given power and same liverage, most of us here will do worst than this same military we are all castigating..even police..

No be same Nigerians dey dey do all sort of attoricites in their lines of work? Taking bribes and doing all sorts of illegals..

Go to the university and see the high level of abnormalities those lecturers commit, go to the hospitals..the same.

My friend was stabbed the other day and I escorted h to FMC Owerri, long story short, these guys requested all manner of bribes and protocols before they attend to my friend in need of emergency treatment.. if not for me(because I had my ATM with me) that my friend could have bled to death.. because he thought that as a federal medical center,it's supposed to be highly subsidized or near free( of not free).

Our pastors and imams aren't left out in the world of corruption and irregularities..

The armies are Nigerians too and they are bound to be power drunk and corrupt too..

It's as if they are recruited from Mars and not from Nigerian society. They are merely a reflection of society, which you see in different guises where ever you go. Just mention you are Nigerian anywhere you go around the world and yo will in most cases be given a wide berth.

You would think they are recruited from Mars. Personnel of the Armed Forces are a reflection of Nigerian society. You can't get away from it. Which ever profession you pick, you will find someone trying to screw you over. Why do you think people give Nigerians a wide berth abroad? Our reputation precedes us.
