Dameelee me too. Am so tired of this waiting and time isnt on our side anymore. Cant do any proper planning till one gets PPR at the least.

Can you guys advise on me taking my kids with me even though I used them as my hometies durng my application. What explanation will I give at POE?
They are both Americans so dont need any documentation per say. Leaving without them and them joining me later may not work as there's no one to bring them. I dont start hubby's paper work till mine comes out and that may take months to come out. Cant be seperated from my kids for that long period of time.
Dameelee:
eh eh, the way BVL and PPR is just dropping today ehn... I'm so nervous. I pray I get mine today too.
Please is there anyone who got BVL whose DLI isn't on the approved list? @lekiboboe

Hello guys, I haven’t recieved any other message since i applied October 7th. I did an upfront medical and uploaded it alongside my application and i have also done my biometrics too. How do i send this webform everyone is talking about? Atleast by now i should have gotten a notification message from them.

Hi, I think mine’s also the same. Still on the same level. Submitted 8th October, did Biometrics 20th (my biometrics hasn’t updated on my profile yet. Sent several web forms but nothing).

I am planning to go for my medicals next week and then submitting sending it through web form.

Please keep me posted on how it goes for you.

Thank you.
It will end in praise Amen.

Don't worry, yours is on the way.

Amen, is your application within the standard processing time (15 weeks), if yes, have you tried sending webform/webforms to IRCC ?

My DLI is is yet to be on Covid-19 Readiness plan approved DLI list,so its clear that, this is not a yardstick for getting an Update/Decision from IRCC

Yes, I deferred from September 2020 to January 2021. The survey they sent was just asking if I have my study permit or AIP to upload.

How far with your application?

Earlier this year my sister was denied a student permit. Reason being "Insufficient funds" even though funds declared pus properties were more than 100M Naira in total. We want to re-apply again. I have some Landed properties. How can I evaluate the value of these properties and add to this to the new application to confirm proof of sufficient funds?

See ehn, there is no method to this shit.. the best I can advise, to my knowledge is either pay the fees or send the money to your sister's account.
I personally, paid my first-year school fees and sent my 10kcad for my upkeep to my mother's account in Canada.
But wait for other honorables in the house for their input

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chocs(f): 9:50am On Nov 03, 2020
Hello,

Sorry to hear about her refusal,

The worth of your property does not count in regards to the money available.

Property serves as home ties (something to compel you to come back home after your studies)

The money available for studies must be liquid. That means it must be available in your bank account and accessible. She is required to have 1 year full tuition + 10,000 cad for living expenses.

Who was her sponsor? I always advise the sponsor to transfer the 10,000 cad to the applicant as a sign of commitment.

She can also pay her tuition fee ahead and attach the receipt (check the refund policy of the school before paying)

Also did you order your gcms notes to see the specific concern of the visa officer? The reasons given in the refusal letters are usually generic and not specific. Order your gcms notes to see the specific reason.

To order the gcms notes, google “gcms notes sites Canada” choose any of them and apply for the notes. It costs about 20 cad and can take up to 35 days to arrive.

All the best
