I hope you understand what exit polls are? They are distinctively different from your regular candidate polls.

Exit polls may show a trend about issues but does not necessarily imply voting choice/ decision.

A Republican may say Healthcare is expensive and want a government run healthcare during an exit interview but that does not mean he/ she has vote for Biden.

Judging by the percentage split, I think the support for a government run healthcare plan transcends party lines. Healthcare has become ridiculously expensive and has continued to get worse and it doesn’t matter if you are Democrat or Republican and that is what those numbers are saying.
