Good morning all
I learnt Nigerian Army DSSC recruit 5 applicants per state. So This 5 per state, does it include senators/politicians slot.

secondly
Will the screening be done in our various states due to the situation of the country.

Thirdly
How long does it take to be promoted from the rank of a lieutenant to captain.
Thanks so much

Mehn, I wish I had applied for Navy DSSC. I wanted to focus on NA this year. Congrats to all those that got shortlisted. Prepare well and blast that exam.

Dssc doesn’t take 5 per state.. it takes more .. the idea you have towards the recruitment can work against you .. people get it on merit all the time..

2.. dssc screening would Be in Ibadan..

3..5 standard years .. maybe more in Dssc’s case..

I was thinking DSSC get faster promotion than SSC officers, since DSSC promotion is automatic after been commissioned as a lieutenant(4 years after commission).

lol promotion is 5 years for everybody now.. army airforce navy.. Dssc promoting is not automatic like people think.. it’s easy but not automatic..
If anything, it’s SSC’s promotion that’s automatic as long as you pass the promotion exam.. up to major.. then from major its Insha allah and godfatherism..

DSSC takes 10 per state depending on the slot given to your region and SSC is 12-13 slots per state

i wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it on ground.. the truth is even some of us that went with connect were bounced and people that got in on total merit got it without any hiccups..
45, the 4 guys and one girl that got in from my state were the only ones that passed Medicaid.. they didn’t know anybody.. they didn’t know anything.. they just applied and came..
46.. same thing met plenty from Lagos, Oyo, etc..
I never discredit the merit cos they are plenty..

Cos I want to be a field officer.. Everybody has their preferences.. Me, I like the thrill of the job..

Plus I have always wanted to pass out from the Nigerian defence academy..NDA gives you the right orientation for the job..
