I don't know why is it that, whenever a northerner rule Nigeria, except for few likes of Yara'dua, etc. There's always maltreatment of the Southerners when the President is from the north but when the south rules the Country, they rule with national character and fairness not because of anyone threatened or force them to do so. These northerner's Presidents rule the Country with the fear that if they don't applying foce or some sort subtility against the south might frustrate their existence as region. Does it mean that the north have nothing in common with the south? or is there anything they are afraid of?
I want to say that, nobody should live under pressure of another. Lack of national character has been the reason for lack of national unity. Favouritism give birth to conspiracy and restiveness. No man can fold his arms when the welfare of his people is violated.

No country formed by different regions ever used land mass as criterion to proliferate too many states in a region with larger land mass.
Northern soldiers created 20 new political units in one northern region but created an average of 8.5 new political units in the west and east regions.
