Just visit the nearest Nafdac office. Note u need to have a label and they will visit the production site. Is cold water starch for consumption? |

ojsmscom: Don't listen to him oo. NAFDAC controls everything. NAFDAC job is to ascertain the quality and fitness for consumptive of EVERYTHING produced for consumption. Either they are produced within or without NIgeria. It's like someone producing hair cream saying it's neither food none drug. Sorry is your case. NAFDAC job is about safety of goods produced for consumption. I can see the guy doesn't understand what the word consumption means. He thinks it's for goods that can be eaten. SON's (which is optional) is for standard. Nothing can be produced and marketed in NIgeria without approval. Even after shave used in barbing salons. Small scale products will cost you about 28, 000 Naira to register. There are things that NAFDAC gives you option to either do or not do as a small scale. You could choose to do lab Analysis or not. You could choose to register the product brand with ministry of trade or not. If you don't register it and you are becoming a challenge to your competitions, they will use NAFDAC to shot you down and arrest you for selling "fake" products. Go to their website.
