Keyamo is trying to buy favor from women. That is medicine after death. Already, apc is finished and come 2023, apc case will be worst than the shock trump got. Maybe, keyamo smoked weed and wasn't in his right frame of mind.

Minister of State for Labour and Employment Festus Keyamo says the time has come for women in Nigeria to be trusted to hold high public offices, Igbere TV reports.

Mr Keyamo stated this on Saturday evening in reaction to the election of Senator Kamala Harris as the first woman to become vice-president elect of the United States.

https://twitter.com/fkeyamo/status/1325133269717843968?s=20

Igbere TV reports that Harris, Joe Biden’s running mate, is also the first Black person and the first person of Southeast Asian descent to become vice president-elect in the nation’s 244-year history.

Biden won the presidential election ending Donald Trump’s troubled presidency after securing the 20 electoral college votes of Pennsylvania.
It means people had the freedom to speak in different ways of their choice.

SARS and police are raping and killing the young women in Nigeria while the CBN is blocking their bank accounts.

Also, note that Kamala Harris has said that she smoked marijuana as a yoot!

Wakanda of nonsense talk is this? So we must do it because the US did it? How about create jobs for your people like the US does! Or respect the rights of your people like the US does! How about you just congratulate the woman and move on, must you always try to sound smarter than you are? She was given the chance, she earned it. Look up her bio if you must.

They have always been given chances but they go there to steal and corruptly enrich themselves. The records are there Patricia Ette, Iyabo Obasanjo, Deziani, Oyo-Ita to mention but a few.

Really?
She didn’t merit it?

Joker
thebosstrevor1:
Not really.

Nigerian Women are already be given chances, they have to utilize the platform.

But recently, i noticed the trend of Affirmative action for women instead of merit

Harris didn't get the position on merit rather by Affirmative action because the democratic party elite wanted a Woman as Vp

The way some of you use words anyhow. Do you really know the meaning of merit? If you do, you won't say this gibberish. You mean the Democratic party elite wanted an Affirmative action candidate and they just picked a nobody Kamala Harris on the street because she's a woman of colour? We're talking about a woman who was a distinguished attorney, District attorney for San Francisco, elected as Attorney General of California State for 2 terms ( the state with the biggest electoral college votes in the whole of US), current serving senator in same California since 2017. Which CV can be richer than this for VP position and someone is talking about not getting it by merit.

I laugh hard very hard. It was because Hillary was a woman that made her lose. If it is very sure for the Democrats let them use a woman 2024. You will be shocked how they will lose.

So because a woman won the vice presidential seat in US, that means it is time a woman occupies that of Nigeria too? We only emulate the westerners on insignificant trends as this but fail to emulate their economic development trends.

So you stewpeed Women haters had been waiting for a woman to become VP in America before realising that Women should be given a place in political leadership and administration? Nigerian women whom we trusted to turn things around, failed us woefully. They are worst than the men. Only Dora Akunyili stood out from the rest of them.
