Joe Biden, presidential candidate of the Democratic Party in the 2020 US election, has updated his Twitter bio to include ‘president-elect’, after being projected winner by CNN, NBC, BBC and the Associated Press, Igbere TV reports.

Biden made the changes to his account on Saturday.

“President-Elect, husband to Dr Biden, proud father & grandfather. Ready to build back better for all Americans,” his bio now reads.

The worse that would happen is that states where the win margin was less than 1 percentage point would have a recount, if the law in that state permits it to, and you very much know that that wouldn't change the outcome of the eventual election result as on no previous occasion has a recount differed initial vote count by +/-300
