Nooel1: If you know Lagos well, you would know facts over sentiments. Tinubu didnt make MC Oluomo neither did he make Oba Akiolu the King. For Sanwolu, he maybe weak but there are reason best know to why the party made me win primaries. |

Nooel1: That Tinubu doesn't become president doesn't nullify SW presidency. Moreover, he isn't INEC, so why should I take him serious. Unfortunately, you Ipobians with your inferiority complex are masturbating on one man's opinion. 1 Like |

History always repeats itself. From Awolowo to Abiola and now Tinubu on the brink. Abiola was so rich and enjoyed the goodwill of the people to an extent that he was alleged to have sponsored the coup that removed Buhari and installed IBB as President. Same can be said about Tinubu, Jonathan's loss and emergence of Buhari but their problem is despite being allowed to pick ministers, Senate Presidents, juicy contracts and other reciprocations their quest for power remains unabated until it becomes their ruin. Tinubu should thank God for his journey so far and shelf this controversial Presidential ambition for the sake of his survival and also for the fact that Igbos must be pacified with Presidency. 1 Like |

Placing an illiterate over an emeritus professor is another confirmation of stupidity and selfishness. You can result to dirty words and abuses for whatever sake. I won't bring myself to that level. I am not trained that way! |

Lovelies1: The South west Stance on 2023 is the problem of the South at the moment. Especially by the way its being led pushed the yoruba Muslims. You cant win by demonizing others, you will simply pushed them to the other person. Well question is why are the Yorubas hell bent on producing the president in 2023 or always oppose other southern region ruling? Havent they produced before? They ve Obasanjo and now Osibanjo and by 2023, South West would have been in the presidency for 16 years out of 24years, yet they are hell bent on 2023, reason for lack of peace or head way. This is the major bone of contention, if not resolved, anyone from the South should not even bother cos the North will definately still remain president beyond 2023. How? The Yorubas that can sway the support of SEast and SSouth are either not in Govt, part of Tinubu's rooster or even regarded in the South west. Go and mark it, Tinubu or any of his boys or associates can never gain the support of the rest of the other Southerners. Its not hate speech or tribalism, its just a natural law, you cant go against a brother and expect him to back you. 1. The only way APC can win in 2023 is nation wide massive rigging, problem is they don't have enough foot soldiers for that. it will be Edo govt election playing out, folks like Obaseki, Ameachi, Ambode and many pushed aside would rather have a PDP F.G than one ran by Tinubu and co. And again there are no one in the APC that can generate the kind of followership Buhari had, which have greatly deminished by gross incompetence. So Massive rigging wont work. 2. The North though might not say it, but are greatly disapointed and let Dow by the APC, for get propaganda, the North feels as if Buhari have wasted their turn in power, cos there is absolutely nothing they can say they be gained besides Buhari favouring his kits and kin. its has gotten to the level they even say they wont relinquish power cos Tinubu and co have cheated them. Where is they rail way? Where is their Lagos-Ibadan express way? Where is their Baro port? Or even security? 3. All the PDP needs to do to defeat any Sweat candidate is to pick a Northerner as presidential candidate and a SEasterner / South southerner to win. Two can play the game. Besides that will bring some unity, peace, justice and calm nerves. Way forward? The only times the South have been able to arm twist the North into relinquish power was in 1999 and 2011. How did that happen? They entire South spoke with one united voice. Point is, no southern geo zone, can do that on their own. it must be a united collective demand. Question is, is the South united now? Nope, why ? Cos Yoruba man wants power for himself. So until the South West and South East resolve this challenge we are all on a long thing. Secondly , the North as it is, is greatly divided and fragmented between ethno-religious divides. Taraba, Benue, Nasarawa, Parts of Bauchi, Plateau, parts of Kogi, Southern Kaduna, parts of Kwara would go the way Southern Nigeria goes. that includes voting for the candidate they collectively endorse. So the ball is in the hands of the South, not the North. |

AfroDude:see bro, sentiment and all other things aside. As Nigeria stands now politically the only two individuals that can go into the ring of presidential electoral contest without being termed as an underdog are Tinubu and atiku due to their political influence and deep pockets. We can all clamor for the best candidates in our midst which will definitely exclude those two but truth is "best candidate" alone those not and cannot hand you the victory which is so obvious except you want to be so economical with the truth. I would have loved to have a fresh candidate like the afdb president or Mogbalu or someone sound but the reality of the whole thing is that they won't win for obvious reasons so..... |
