Seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness really implies seeking after the Will of God in all things, even as you let your will known to God. The message in Matthew 6 is about ceding control over your life as someone who follows Jesus Christ over to God so He is your only lead you, Teacher, Guide, counsellor, comforter, helper, provider in everything.

Part of being born again is learning to trust fully in God and His plan for your destiny, just as Jesus Christ did, going about doing the Will of the Father, and the Father providing for His every need as such. So in your doing, above all else, you seek first to obey the commandments of God above all things else, and in your works, do the works of righteousness as He commanded as well. When you obey God first and foremost, God will take care of your needs and desires.

If it's wealth and prosperity you are seeking, that makes you want to seek the Kingdom of God, that means you're not seeking the kingdom of God first, but wealth and prosperity.

To seek the Kingdom of God, the other things that would be added including wealth and prosperity must be secondary to you, otherwise you're get it wrong.

Jesus is not a teacher who promotes greed or selfishness so you made a mistake with the highlighted!
First of all i want you to know that the set Jesus talked to directly as in making that promise of all other things all died without wealth nor prosperity, in fact 11 out of 12 were slaughtered and the last one died without living and wealth behind!
When Jesus said all other things he was referring to the goodies God planned for each and every human in the beginning, so there is no wealth when everyone have all things equally and that means all those living under Jesus' teaching will prosper together, noone will slave or serve the other!

But there is a powerful spirit who can give anyone whatever they desire now {Luke 4:6} this spirit will soon be arrested and locked up for 1,000 years {Revelation 20:1-3} after which he will be destroyed for good! Genesis 3:15

As for the true God, his promises is when his kingdom come {Matthew 6:10} and there will not be poverty in any part of the earth during his reign, everyone living will be blessed equally Psalms 67:6-7

So if you want to know more about God's Kingdom then feel free to ask any questions that comes into your heart, but be rest assured that [b]in God's Kingdom no one will slave for another! Micah 4:4

Well, no. One has got to live holy first by obeying Jesus according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, otherwise, he/she ends up as an hyprocrite. Op needs to check his motive, though. You can't love God and money: you cannot serve two masters.

Sure, infact, lots of them; especially in churches. This was what Jesus was saying here:

Matt.15.8 - 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far away.
Matt.15.9 - Their worship is a farce, for they replace God's commands with their own man-made teachings.'"


So, the main thing is to first obey God's word, not preaching or doing lots of religious activites:

John.14.15 - "If you love me, obey my commandments.
