The Truth is that; the pastor was not directly involved. Some person were cought, one had to commit suicid and, a false alegation was made against the pastor to have been the one behind the events.
Let me clarify futher; a Tiv man believes in two churches; Roman Catholic and NKST. Penticostals are regarded as 'mba man awambe' (blood suckers). This I said because I have been in the ministry for a long time. My father suffers in their hand, persecution and rejection just for being a penticost. (He has been a penticotal pastor for about 38 years now and throughout his ministry, he served in the interior Tivland because can only read Tiv fluently and He's currently serving with Foursquare Gospel Church).
They would not even believe in the miracles been performed by the pastor, and, they were eagerly waiting for the source. To them, men of God should not be performing such wonders except their are powers behind the power.
Moreso, because people have been receiving healings, the church outgrows the rest that have been there for about a century.
Hence, any claim about the cleric cannot be investigated because they await the news.
I speak as a Tiv man, the few, whose families have sufer humiliation for being penticostas, and one who knows much about Daudu-the people and what they do.
Finally, it is typical of the Tiv people that they still haven't realise whos is God, hence, they don't fear God.
