I am not a plumber but I am going to suggest you engage the service of a plumber. The Picture one did not give room for one to bypass the filter if you decided for whatever reason e.g. lack of fund or filter availability or change of mind
picture B is what I have and it allow me to bypass the filter when my madam decided she preferred bottle water to the filtration . it is just a matter off pulling up A and closing up B and C

I’m good with this as I’ll never run without filter.

The place he went to probably makes use of an open yard where they have cutting machines that grinds the acquired larger stones to the specified sizes. People patronize such places most especially when they want their deliveries in daylight hours. Deliveries from Calabar and Abakaliki comes mostly in the night especially those whose papers have issues and who are avoiding taskforce on the road. Except they have changed even when they get to PHC by 4pm most stop along the express especially by Oil mill junction or some other safe place till about 7pm before heading to the specific delivery site.

You can use 10mm or 12mm or a mix of both. The space u will need to cover with 5 lengths of 12mm, you will need 6 lengths of 10mm to cover same space. (5x12 = 6x10).
12mm spaced at 250mm c/c, is similar to 10mm spaced at 200mm c/c.
The problem in nigeria is that 12mm is not always 12mm. Same thing with 10mm and all the other sizes. So to be on the safe side, use the 12mm that is widely used in the country.

But always obey the structural engineer's design.

However, the supervisor handling it is advising us to use 10mm steel rods for this decking as this steel rod is stronger than 12mm rod and can carry the weight comfortably. This is different from what I know with my little building knowledge.
So I decided to come here to seek expert opinion on this.

That is what I think I can afford. Pop is on the high side for me.

Going by my experience last week where a portion of my living room PVC ceiling collapsed, I'm not going to advise you use a PVC if the building is yours. Except it's a temporary measure pending when you can afford a better alternative like a POP or the like.

If transport is 20k i just imagine the price of Granite per ton, nothing will be different from Calabar... I work in PH on request, i know the force & forces surrounding chippings in that terrain.

You’re very correct here!

Granite(Shippings) is not cheap across states anymore. Price per ton range from ₦3200-₦4000/ton Haulage Services service range from ₦30k above. If naira is face by another devaluation definitely price will raise.

As it is Cement may get to ₦5,000/bag before end of this year.. 2 things we watch for, if Dangote increase cost of production, transporters will also increase ...other manufacturers will follow suit.

No, before 2015 we experience Oil boom but GEJ was wasteful crude Oil was at $168/barrel. 2015 was global meltdown crude crashes to less $60/barrel the decline keep going till $-0/barrel, our government keep looting treasury, borrow & looting. From Abakaliki that I don't know, but from Cross river is +/- 330 to PH. Due to bad road ur granite can be delayed by 1 or 2 days.

However, There is a Chinese company after Port harcourt Refinery that crush and sell granite of different size. The rate is 10k per tonne, then u negotiate transport to ur site separately. E.g to deliver to Ada George area of PH is like 40-45k. To Uzoba and Choba area is like 50k. Try to negotiate the transport to ur best ability.

Chipping in PHC is gold ooo. A times due to stress from calabar or Abia, we just go for the Chinese one. U see what u buy and leave. 20k transport is may be to Oyingbo side. Any move beyond aba road na 30k above.
