Happy to note the MASSOB leadership acknowledging the name OBIGBO, and the fact that it is Igbo territory. Having said the above, I will keep saying it that Nnamdi Kanu is a huge disaster waiting to happen as he lacks the necessary leadership competences that is needed to navigate the global political and diplomatic web. He should have remained just the director of Radio Biafra. What is happening now was predicted by late Dr. Dozie Ikedife and the other elders that helped to form IPOB. They made it clear that Kanu's approach will lead to unnecessary bloodshed. They made this prediction, long before the Nigerian government declared IPOB a terrorist organisation. Of course, Kanu pilloried them and used the fact that he's the mouthpiece via Radio Biafra, to run down this well meaning and seasoned. Igbo elders. The result is what we see today. No one now bothers to investigate the massacre of IPOB members, because of the way Kanu has been leading, and this was predicted. Unfortunately, some of these elders have passed away. Dr. Dozie Ikedife, Col. Joe Achuzie and Barr. Debe Odumegwu-Ojukwu. If IPOB is to regain the aura and effectiveness that her initiators planned out, then the leadership has to be handed to people like Tony Nnadi of the LNC fame, a seasoned barrister with the swerve disposition to stand toe to toe with global leaders, and with an effective roadmap that will eventually lead to self-determination. Even Emeka Emeksri of the other faction of IPOB will do a better job of leading IPOB. With regards to the massacre at Obigbo, I assigned 10% fault to Kanu. 90% of the fault for that carnage still lies with the following entities 1 Wike 2 Buhari 3 Buratai 4 The Nigerian army |

helinues:Let me engage you in a civil manner. First of all, I am not Igbo I am from the Niger Delta. So you feel that if a war breaks again the outcome will be like that of the 1967 - 1970 civil war? Alliances will be formed with several countries, and I dare say we would have the situation going on Libya right now with no victor or vanquished. |

I am igbo and will fight a just cause or a just war if only my existence is threatened but i will never fight for anyone, leader or politicians who will leave me in the bush to fight and starve for days without food, thus going about traveling round the world and telling me he is doing peace meeting. .. never oo! |

OfoIgbo:Lets not forget something. Uwazurike as head of MASSOB was very diplomatic. Uwazurike was less radical, less confrontational and more accommodating. Uwazurike did not even abuse anybody. But what happened to Uwazurike? More MASSOB were gunned down and killed than IPOB, many were arrested and tortured , Uwazurikes home was invaded multiple times, he was arrested and spent many years in detention. Everything that you see happening to IPOB happend to MASSOB. The only difference was that Buhari elevated oppression to a new level by using the anti- terrorism law to proscribe groups he does not like, such as IMN and IPOB, while leaving his fellow Heardsmen to massacre Nigerians What Im trying to say is that we have the benefit of hindsight to realise that Nnamdi Kanu is not the problem. As long as you demonstrate consistently against the Nigerian government, they will come for you in a big way, Lekki toll gate is a recent reminder. Nnamdi Kanu has to be who he is because the forces he is up against dont respect gentlemen or the rule of law nor tolerate dissent. This is one lesson Tony Nnadi is yet learn. Tony Nnadi doesn't really bring any thing new to the table, he is just another restructuring advocate like Ohanaeze, Afenifere and PANDEF. Eventually, they will all come to the realisation that Nigeria can never be restructured because the core North will never allow it. Only then will they finally know that it is either they go for self determination or keep making noise about restructuring forever and ever. Nobody is going to fight another war, its no longer necessary. Nigeria is heading for disintegration and nothing can stop it, it can only be delayed. |

helinues:It's a simple analysis, it's not about leaving one part and adding another, it's about the possibilities and the outcome in a war. When people start fleeing from the East, they will surely take refuge in my Niger Delta, and your South-West because we share borders with them. Even if the war never gets to your region or mine, it will affect us economically because of the influx of refugees in large quantities. |

zpakln:The caption of your thread is not only childish but very laughable. Never say never!!! War is very inevitable and nobody wants to fight. Nidigbo are very aggressive group of people yet you cannot read from their history where such aggressiveness was directed against weaker and smaller neighbors. Not even single inch of land belonging to their neighbor have been confiscated. Ndigbo and Biafrans did not start the Nigeria\Biafra war instead they tried to defend against the aggression from Gowon and Nigerians. Ndigbo will surely rise to fight if such idiotic aggression is directed towards them. Ndigbo stood up against British colonialists and forced them to write treaties. |

My take is that Nnamdi Kanu is dead, have been killed by the Nigerian military. However, some forces are using his name and identity to create chaos in Nigeria, especially against the Igbo people. Nnamdi Kanu’s name will keep popping up to blackmail Igbo people for political gain depending on what they want to achieve. |
