It's unfair ...
how can someone forget this top predators in animal reservation. Or is the owner death?
Government can't say they don't know animals like this still exist on that zoo cos if someone owns it then the government are aware of the zoo.
Are the animals there feeding from the programmed oil money toohuh
Na to carry them go yankara game reserve to Bauchi after enough medication

The zoo is a reflection of Nigerian society. Bad maintenance culture. We don't care a bit about things under our care. Same if you see PH zoo. You will feel sorry for the animals.

Nigerians shouldn't be allowed by law to be responsible for any living thing. They can barely take care of themselves.

Embezzlement in action.

The lion is doing compulsory dry fasting (no food no water) courtesy of the zoo keepers, while they use the funds released for the maintenance of the lion to maintain their homes!

Remember that even the funds and materials meant for IDPs are constantly embezzled by the people in charge.

And we all sit in our homes enjoying National Geographic wild channels. Common Kenya here makes money through wild life. This is animal cruelty and I pray the lion escapes one day and eat the person starving him.

What will it cause to feed an ordinary animal in a cage, what is wrong with the black man that he can't effectively run a successful endeavor? What happens to the money budgeted for feeding of this animals or the gate fees generated from visitor.

The palliatives of these ones have even been stolen by the politicians.

Re: Starving Lion At Gamji Gate Zoo In Kaduna (photos) by blackboy(m): 8:33pm On Nov 10, 2020
This is a national disgrace. The governor of that state El Rufia must act fast instead of focusing on 2023.

His state is a reason he should not even think of going to Aso rock as president or vice come 2023.

Religious intolerance. Ethnic intolerance and clashes and now this shameful zoo.

Pathetic. And he travels abroad. Is this the kind of Zoo they keep where his children go to school or he visits?

Heads must roll. Act fast Mr Governor

Give that lion just one goat and enough water, it will stay healthy for one month, they cannot.

These are the people running down the Nigerian project.

They have hoarded the Lions palliatives...

Actually, it costs a lot to feed these big animals. But that's not an excuse. If they can't afford to feed them (assuming the zoo doesn't generate enough revenue to sustain a reasonable budget), let the the animals be taken back to the forest. The whole aim of keeping a zoo is defeated if the animals are an eyesore.
