Good day, please i'm fairly new to this process, i intend to apply for masters degrees by December but on going through the last few pages of this thread, it seems that the embassy is having issues with issuing visas to some class of Nigerian students. please, what exactly is the problem and would it potentially affect me when i'm ready to apply for visa next year. I would also appreciate any other piece of advice on any other issue. Thanks and remain blessed.

Many people here are having issues with AD. That is why I am actually waiting for next year before starting my admission process.

I believe the Embassy will begin full time from next year.

Category B were the ones affected. Category A is for those who are going through Scholarship, the embassy only send A.D to category A. But Category B is through normal process

Sorry for my excessive questioning, What do you mean that category B is through normal process? have anybody on category B given an AD recently?

Category B is Normal admission process that is not scholarship.

I am not sure if anyone from Category B has been given AD fr some time now..

Thanks, i wanted to register on uniassist and commence my application this December but with this your detailed responses, i would package the application requirements and wait till the situation improves before applying.

well it depends. some schools may allow deferring. plus hopefully things are okay again by next year. well it depends on you and the embassy knows that by next year so many students will be applying for student visa. so I think things will be in place

Sure bro. Just wait till January, maybe, things would change. If you go for it now and you are given admission, how about the Visa interview date? That means you would have to defer your admission or apply again.

It doesn't take long to get response. Check the application page, you can track tour progress there. Though the essay is quite difficult to score good marks and because we Africans are poor with referencing our work.

Lol you don't have to be generic with the word Africans. Few African countries universities/education is quite as good as the European and Asian.

1. (Only necessary for DoSV courses: BID (Applicant ID) via hochschulstart.de ('B' and 12 digits)
2. (Only necessary for DoSV courses: BAN (Applicant authentication number) via hochschulstart.de (6 digits)

Also, how should I apply?
