Urgent Help Needed.

I drive a Honda Civic 08, eight month after my first drive i started hearing the sound "ka ka ka' so i change the shaft and the noise stopped, to my greatest surprise two month after changing the shaft i started hearining another 'ka ka ka' now which means the shaft is bad again. can i repair the old shaft as i kept beacuse it looks like i cant find the original shaft or what could be the cause.

Thank you for all your answers.

The switch to 5w20 worked with my previous Honda Accord that was why I wanted to do same with this Pilot but it almost caused wahala thank God for quick intervention of Professional advices here nd myself that was very observant

I came here sometime ago to ask if I could change to the recommended oil for my 2008 honda pilot after ringing the engine. I did and the engine runs ok. Initially it brings out smoke from the exhaust the first day( the volume of the smoke was unusual, oil was total ineo mcs 5w 30) but I shall use faith to continue. The smoking has stopped
My Observations:
The performance of the engine has greatly improved. The acceleration was quicker and the transitioning btw gears was faster and smoother
2 Previously my car was bringing out this codes p0325, p0430, p0128. After going on a 70miles trip yesterday, the p0430 code disappeared. But the p0325 remains with a new code p0118.
3 concerning fuel consumption...I haven't noticed any improvement, maybe with time
4The steering of the car has become softer
5 There is a top end 'she she she' kind of sound coming from the engine. The sound has been there since I bought the car. It still there. It has never interfere with the performance of the vehicle in any way. What can I do about it
Lastly concerning the codes please what should I do about it. Thanks

Manner of changing helps prolong life of the shaft, some mechanics that do manual replacement spoils the new shaft

but why did it not affect the fenders. Are you sure its leg pull,if it is that means the owner is not taking good care of the legs of the car.

That road is a very busy road , if it isn't a leg pull it would have been better off pulling over to a safer place.

Moreover ain't too sure all leg pulls affect fender

The Honda gear-box has a switch, some call it drive switch or gear box switch. It also serves as filter for your ATF(Automatic transmission fluid) and oftentimes get blocked by dirt which impedes or stops fluid flow thereby affecting gear performance. It can be cleaned ir replaced and you are driving.
Bro do you think this could be what is affecting my gear performance?
Really worried.

Hi guys, I've been on this trend and every info has been helpful.
Now I have my own problem. I drive a 2004 accord commonly called EOD

The car is great and never gives me problem but the issue is, each has time I switch my AC on, my rpm goes down and the engine becomes sluggish which makes the car to jack as if it's going to go off on me. And it often times goes off which I have to restart the car. And it’s happens in traffic all d time

I decided it's probably because my engine power was low so I told my mechanic to beef up the engine power.
Lo and behold, same problem. As soon as I try to move, the rpm goes down.
It runs fine when I'm on a good speed tho but the problem is when I'm in traffic and I have to be slow. Everything shakes and I always end up turning of the AC

Please guys, what could be the problem.
I've met with so many kazeems over this issue and all they tell me is either change plugs or fuel pump.

I've done all that before.

No changes.

I'll really appreciate any solution or advice. Thanks

Check your throttle body. Your iacv valve is either clogged with carbon or is faulty and needs a replacement.

Where is the iacv valve located in d car please?? Do reply

This below is your engine’s Internal Air Control Valve.

It is below the area where air gets into your engine’s intake manifold.

Remove the throttle body, Take off the iacv from the throttle body, unscrew the electrical side of the iacv (has 2 screws holding it to the valve itself)

Use carb cleaner and spray a little quantity into the three spaces below it (make sure the solvent does not get anywhere near the electrical part in the 3rd pic if you didn’t take it off first.

Scrape off the carbon,

Allow to dry

Manually use your hands to spin the iacv and see if it’s now free, if it isn’t yet free then clean some more

Couple it and install in the reverse way you took it off. Remember to use the rubber gasket. And if you took off your throttle body use a new gasket for that side too.

Goodevening everyone, my 09 civic goes off after being on for a while, sometimes it does as if it wants to go off, jerks and continues as if nothing happens, sometimes it just goes off, and then once I start it again, it comes on and moves, then happens again after like 5mins. f I allow the car to cool off for a while, it starts running smoothly as if nothing happened. My mechanic says it's the fuel pump and probably fuel filter. Please what do you guys think @ radautoworks

That's first thing to check. When filter is clogged and car runs for a while and gets hot, the fuel pressure will drop. No check engine light right?

Good day great people,

Please I noticed my Honda City 2007 Jacks when it is about to pick up and stops then I get a free flow movement.
But, Yesterday evening when I was going out I noticed a very bad jacking more like the 2 front tires vibrated then it moved, its a smooth drive after.
Also, noticed a lot of noise from car legs when am on a bad roads, but on good roads no noise at all. What could be wrong??

No lights are on..

Please what could be the issue
