I have been cramping for some days. I felt it was braxton Hicks related but the cramps are still coming. I feel it for some mins sometimes hrs...mild though then it stops again and comes back later. When it starts i also feel lower back pain. I am just entering wk 30 and I have wondering what could cause it.
I plan going to the clinic if it doesn't subside in the morning.
No bleeding, normal discharge. Baby kicks actively.
Pls help a ftm. My sis are tired of my complaints. Their pregnancy experience was hunger alone. Sometimes I feel unlucky really, but I know it's for the best.

Biko grab a glass of water and popcorn as my BS is lengthy.

I was 8 weeks gone before I realized I was pregnant. No Ms ....Since then,things took the other way.I couldn't even register for antenatal till I was 26 weeks,did my first scan at 26 weeks and scan said baby was XX.

THIRD TRIMESTER
Fast forward to 36 weeks,had to come on here to plead for baby items which @Babygal2020 and an anonymous giver sent me some amount (God bless your kind hearts).... Bought my hospital items & baby clothes with the money.
At 39 weeks,doctor requested me to do another scan,did it and scan back dated me to 34weeks with XX gender,that week.... I started having contractions... Went to the hospital for check-up, was examined & doctor said I was 2cm dilated That I should go home and come back when the contractions become frequent.
40 weeks came & I was still at 2cm.
Doctor told me if I don't fall in labor till 41 weeks,I'll be induced.
At 40 weeks & 6 days, I started having contractions, went to the hospital, doctor checked and said I was still 2cm,he inserted a drug to induce labor at 1:42pm.

Was at the hospital till 8 pm, was contemplating on going home since I wasn't feeling anything much,,... Was about to go meet the doctor when a nurse called me into the labor room to check if I was progressing.
She checked & said I was still 2cm dilated and that the drug that was inserted has almost slipped out without dissolving at all, she went ahead to push it in and told me she'll come to check again if I'm progressing after 4 hours.
At some minutes to 10pm I wasn't myself any longer, the contractions were hitting me back to back ....I started feeling dizzy and hot in my tummy... I told the nurses I wanted to bath, I started feeling cold immediately I finished bathing & started feeling as if I wanted to use the toilet.
I told the nurse on duty I wanted to poo, she said okay but was using one kain eyes to look at me & was even complaining that my wahala is getting much .. that I should save my energy as the drug was inserted by 8pm and I still have a VERY long way to go, I got to the toilet and was having a strong urge to push .. went back in and begged the nurse to come & check me as I was having the urge to poo .
She said she won't check me as it was just some minutes past 10pm ,that she would check me by 12midnight,I started begging her to please check how far I was, she refused... When my disturbance was getting much, the nurse told me to enter the labor room,she was complaining to the extent I almost shouted at her but kept my cool,I climbed the bed,she checked and shouted that I was already 10cm dilated,she and the other nurse started running Helter sketer as they weren't prepared ,I told her I can't hold it any longer,that I felt like pushing,she said I should when I'm ready to....I pushed thrice & my baby came out screaming his lungs at 10:15 pm.
The nurse told me to lie still for placenta to come out,20 minutes,the placenta was still in me,the nurse said she could see it but couldn't help deliver it as it seems something was holding it in .She called the doctor that there was an emergency,the doctor came in, checked and said same thing also,he inserted his hand to check and said the placenta was stuck as some part hasn't detached,he detached with his hand and brought out the placenta, checked if it was complete & stitched me ....The nurses named my baby Surprise(lol) as they said the delivery was too short for a first time mum.
I'm officially signing out of team November with thanks to God and gratitude to NL pregnancy forum.

Awwwn..congrats sis. As for me,I don't really have much headaches,I still sleep well but that cramps is what I experience like at least thrice in a day. Are you a first time mom, started antenatal and what drugs have you started taking?

Complain to ur doctor for proper monitoring.

Yes, I'm a ftm. Sorry about the headaches. Just got back from the hospital and some drugs like folic acid,ferrous sulphuric acid and one other one that i can't read was prescribed..getting them later in the evening. Doc said its too early for scan and antenatal till I'm 8/12weeks gone so will just be relaxing and chilling till then.

sorry mommy, Even me one of my vaginal lip(labia) has been swollen since I was 5month and have complained and given drugs at the hospital but still swollen. Have just been coping with it hoping after birth it will be normal.

I did a scan today to check if there is anything remaining after my miscarriage and I was told everything has passed. But I was told that I have fibroid and the doctor advised me that since I was able to conceive I shouldn't worry much. I should just try and get pregnant again, then she gave me vitamin E. But the lady that did the scan for me advised me to go for surgery. I'm really confused. Here is the result of the scan. Please i need help

This happened to me during my first pregnancy. That was how one labia was swollen till I gave birth . It was just full with blood and painless. It was until after I gave birth that I noticed it was no more there.

Sorry about how you are feeling now..I understand..its ok to be sad..but try and smile and be positive...please follow what your doctor said,,from The scan result ,the fibroids are not in your uterus wch is a good news.

Scan says you are pre-ovulatory phase...relax, bd, take the vit e, dont take folic acid...when you get a +ve test go see the doctor to discuss progesterone support for the pregnancy.

good evening beautiful Mamas, pls I need you advise o. I usually do not have cravings but recently I discovered that I'm always longing for fresh yo yoghurt. I don't know if it's okay to take it every night. I've been quite a diciplined person but this one is proving difficult o.

I'm mainly concerned because of the sugar content in it as I know that the unsweetened one is good for us.
