coaches get sacked all the time but sacking a coach who won the league last term and qualified your team for the qualifying rounds of the UCL with barely a quarter of the season gone is a bit harsh.

true they have been awful but they didn't even give him time to turn it around.

i remember one season like that when dortmund was almost bottom of the bundesliga after the first couple of match days under jurgen klopp but they still stuck it out with him.

timay:

But the team has been bad since the start of the new season.

Lost about 5 games in 7 games played. Any serious team will sack such coach. If he like win treble the previous season, it's inconsequential in football management.

Let's pretend that the team is Your favourite EPL team you support, I'm sure you will be advocating for the sack of the coach too, because you'll also believe that a team that won the league previous season shouldn't be struggling this bad.

So no be everything be Racism abeg. The narrative is becoming nauseating and if we starting terming every single bleep racism, the real racism victims won't be taken serious anymore

but you curiously avoided the fact that his predecessor Conte won the league so what is 3rd place that should freak them? not that i like the chelsea policy (until lampard) of firing and hiring coaches at a whim

timay:

Sarri didn't do badly . He came third in the league, and Won an Europa League trophy, for a manager in his first season. Yet he still got sacked. I'm sure if Sarri was a black man, Una go still shout Racism.

And when Conte was sh*t the following season , what happened to him? Didn't ge get sacked too?

The point is that other coaches have been sacked for way less, but nobody defended them because we all agreed that they didn't meet the club expectations. Nobody mentioned racism because they were not black. Now a black coach gets sacked for the same thing a lot of white coach gets sacked for on a regular basis, yet u carry your victim mentality to be shouting racism up and down.

The same Sarri got sacked at Juve after a season despite winning the League, So what's the big deal in Egbo getting sacked despite winning league.

It's football for you.

Meanwhile Klopp still got sacked despite his past achievements in the club, just because he didn't do well on one season.

So abeg make Una dead the Racism talk. The same Egbo guy will still get another Job in the same league or another European team because of his achievements so far. They won't see his colour, they will only see a good coach that was successful in his last Job and he'll still get hired agan.

It's the nature of football management. Hiring and firing coaches is the order of the day.

Pochetino entered Champions League final with Tottenham, the following season, he was massively underperforming, the team sacked him before season even enter half without considering his past achievement with the club. Heaven did not fall, nobody shouted racism because he wasn't a black man.

Emotions don't run clubs.

coaches have been sacked for way less but nobody has shown me a coach who was sacked few games into a new season after doing well in the previous campaign

i'm not saying Egbo should be immune from the sack because of his skin tone but seriously 7 games into a new season you are sacking him straight away? especially after doing well in the last campaign? c'mon!

poch didn't win anything with spurs that's the bottom line. he did well in his first few seasons in terms of general play and league positions. that's why they were patient with him despite not winning a spoon for them. once status co of trophylesness wasn't changing after 5 seasons they duly let him go so don't paint it as some cut throat brutal sacking decision.

Di Mateo got sacked after winning the Champions League for Chelsea for the first time in their history.

Trust me, I am a big fan of that Algerian team but this team USA is more talent loaded. And they are a very young team as well. Today’s Starting XI had an average age of 22 years and 252 days, the fourth youngest Starting XI in USMNT history.

The future of soccer definitely belongs to America. I knew that once USA begins to take soccer seriously, they’d start beating everyone. The world better stand up and take notice now. The Americans are coming!

O pari

The future of soccer belongs to USA? LMAO..because of what??

Oga,don't kid yourself... Soccer isn't,has never been and will never be a major sport in America.. American football, baseball, ice hockey and basketball are far too big there.. The Americans have apparently left the development of their players to foreign countries because they don't have the time ...
If USA wanted to make an headway in football, they would have started since 1994... What has changed since 1994? . They aren't even the best team in the north American confederation....

The past, present and future of football is in Europe and South America not USA.. it isn't their thing...
