Mr. Ikilo with the angular goatee I was a new student and due to laziness refused to sew my school badge on my white shirt pocket.. Ikilo walks in the classroom we all greet. He ignores and ask everyone to remain standing. Walks through the roles and columns of seats addressing those with school badges to sit while the rest of remains standing. He later tells us how much he loves us and in the process gifts us a new badge each. And then the drama. He switches to bini language demanding for his money in a high and harsh tone n when u fail to pay instantly what comes next is better forgotten

Then Isolated Well dressed Ray Charles lookalike old English man. Always on dark shades.. The day he caught me loafing about while class was ongoing i suffered.. the floggings came from no where n all i could feel was been electrocuted from the lashings and his clear Queens English while the administration of electric flogging was on " why are u loafing about young man.. standing here isolated ? If him never use that word the flogging never complete. That's why we nicknamed him Isolated The guy flogging go make u forget direction n remain transfixed till he's done

During my JSS days, I was flogged twice by teachers. The first, I sustained injuries and I'm sure most of us did. We were flied for coming late to the assembly hall. JS students got six strikes while lying on the long dining hall bench and senior students were flogged 12 strikes lying on the king dining hall tables. The second was for noise making. On both occasions, I cried cos they were super painful. With seniors flogging, they were uncountable. I cried a lot at the beginning however, by the mid term of JSS1, I was used to their flogging.

In SSS, I was flogged once in SS2. I tried not to cry however, I screamed from the pain. The second incident, I wasn't in class when the teacher said he was going to flog the entire class. He came at the end of school day and asked for the roster. He was flogging according to names and my name was around number 19 the. In class. I started crying from number one explaining I wasn't in class then. He wouldn't listen and when he got to my name, I wouldn't step forward, I was just crying. He skipped me however, my classmates abused me because there were junior students at the door peeping to see what was going on and many felt I embarrassed my myself.

The second one was in SS3 and it was just 2 strokes each. That was the only time I did not cry. We were asked to come out and were given 2 strikes each to return into class.

I attended a military school, there is no day that goes by without either cane, belt, hanger, 2by2 plank, horse whip, no go touch ur body, worst na when u get roommate or classmate when go dy buy job 4 everybody carelessly, the one when I still remember like yesterday, na the day one officer flog me and my roomie 4 head ( na me cause am sha). Hmm secondary school days , can I still remember

I always get flogged for reasons best known to the teachers , not because I'm stubborn but because of the company I roll with
I'm this calm and understanding student every teacher would love to mentor , but my love for comedy and lil funny jokes always get me into trouble
I'm a loner and I was living with my strict step sister and she was married with kids , I'm never punctual because I'll have to get the kids set for school and she goes to work early

I was given the post of an head boy but I refused cuz I'm never punctual , and once an head boy isn't in school, everybody must know lol

Is an ugly experience I wouldn't like to talk about . I am one of the modtnintellugent student during my time but that incident ridiculed my personality . I went out with one of my classmate , along the way we entered a beer parlour to buy drink. The guy man order for beer while he gave me malt. ...suddenly , our principal just appeared from no where ..behold he we greeted him and he was nice to us and even ask us to buy him drink ...I became suspious cos he is well feared amongst the students . So my friend ask bar man to give our principal beer . Instead of drinking it right tgere he decided to go with it after thanking us. We left there quickly ...Two weeks later the assembly bell was rang and all of us assembled ....I heard him call my name and that of my friend and 11 others ...we were matched like robbers going to the stake for execution .. He chose amongst the student hefty ones to hold us tight so that we can't move ...My friend took his 12 rounds of Cain without crying ...but that cannot be said when it was my turn. 3 rounds I started shouting ...the painful aspect was that my girlfriend whom I cherish so much was watching me crying like a baby ..,After this incident I changed school cos I cannot bear the shame

When I was in secondary school, no be say I be bad boy or I be hard man, but there's something that just pisses me off when I am about to be flogged - I will just be wondering "Why does this teacher think flogging me will change anything?" Then in my anger, I will make sure I look straight into the teacher's eyes while he/she is flogging me. I don't flinch, I don't move, I don't get jittery. But the only cane wey I chop wey pain me pass even though the stroke was not painful but because I was innocent.
This stupid fair girl that was my seat mate switched her position to my angle because she was talking to one dude o and me wan sit when I came back so I told her to go back to her angle but she ignored and I hate to be ignored to I tapped her little by her shoulder (the tap was small o the kind of "shift jor tap" naso mama say she will report that I beat her and me just dey laugh because how small tap relate to beating so me just sat down to enjoy myself then she came back and told me one teacher is calling me.
