I am saying that so long as you continue to believe yourself a prophet like the Old Covenant Prophets, you are in the wrong! For one you are not a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- you are essentially a foreigner (non-Israelite) living in a foreign land (land not the land of Canaan that was promised), so you are not included in the Old Covenant.

Instead, in His New Covenant, God has installed every one of His followers as messengers/prophets, bearing His Teaching/message to those in the world. God Himself, through Jesus Christ (The Spirit of Truth), is the one and only Teacher/Mentor/Guide/Counselor/Helper/Trainer to those who follow after Him.

Everybody who is born again is a prophet of God according to the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, between God and man.

There are no "special offices", not according to Jesus Christ. So, your prophets with "special offices" are not of Jesus Christ at all. Jesus Christ does not reserve special treatment for some of His followers over others. All of His followers get the same training... every single one of them. And I can tell you that every single person who wants to be born again must submit to the same stipulations as stated by Jesus Christ Himself. The rules don't change because of some idea of "special office" like you and your fellow chatters have supposed to this point.

Obedience is the key into the Kingdom of God. Acceptance means obedience of His commandments. No one can become a follower of Jesus Christ simply by wishing for it. Jesus required that those who choose to follow Him do the work that He commands they first do i.e. Obey that which He has stipulated.

1. Be prepared to abandon parents, brother, sister, children, spouse, in-laws, e.t.c.
2. Abandon all that you know/believe, have, and all that you are
3. Bear your own burden (not someone else's cross- not even your family's or children's)


4. Become a child again in your thinking and your actions

5. Be prepared to lose life(reputation, career, control, property, etc.)



6. Desire above all to find and enter the Kingdom of God and also walk the path of righteousness, with God as your guide every step
7. Let go of all control you have over your life and circumstances, allowing God to take care of your every need

Apostle Paul said that he wants us all to speak in tongues and prophesy, he didn't say he want us all to be prophets. Though recently, God has been calling a lot of people to become prophets, to carry the mantle as that of Elijah, they will be the endtime revivalists.

You have a lot you don't seem to know about what It means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. To be a follower of Jesus Christ, you have to become born again. Once the Spirit of Truth is in you and begins to lead you, He teaches you all of what Jesus Christ, the truth, is and taught. Once you have the truth of God inside of you, you will yourself unablee to hold it to yourself, wanting so much to spread the truth revealed, and He, the Spirit of Truth, will lead tou to teach it to others too.

Well, ask yourself this one very important question and be honest with yourself about it. Are you a follower of Jesus Christ or are you a follower of Paul in these things?

God will never call anyone different from the call He made through Jesus Christ to all men. Any assumed call different from the one that came through Jesus Christ is not of the same God, mind you, since God does not lie and He does not change His mind, especially as far as His Covenants are concerned. The plan that God set in motion about 2000 years ago is still the only plan that is in play even today - He did not promise you any more messiahs and He certainly did not promise you any new "Prophets", not even Elijahs.

If you read beginning from exodus 12 on through Deuteronomy 31, you would find thet under the Old Covenant laws, God started that He would set up prophets from among the tribes of Israel to serve as His prophets in the land If Israel. And this exactly what He did. He did not send a foreigner as Prophet to His people, Israel, because from among them did He state that He would get His prophets.

In the New Covenant that is Jesus Christ, since God lives inside of each and everyone who belongs to Him and they all hear His, Jesus Christ's, voice, and the only Teacher/counselor/guide for those who belong to Him is the Spirit of God Himself, prophets like those If old are not be necessary. And unlike God in His definition of His Old Covenant, Jesus Christ, rather spoke against prophets who would come in His name as false prophets.

1) Why did God decide on sending out only a select few as Prophets to the People of Israel as part of His Old Covenant?
2) What was the job of His prophets in the Old Covenant?
3) Where all persons in the land then who had the ability to do signs and wonders prophets as far as His Old Covenant?

According to Jesus Christ, all workers do the same work. What Jesus Christ commanded Peter to do in John 21 vs 20-23, is the same exact work that Jesus Christ commands all of His Sheep to do(see Matthew 25 vs 31-40). And no single worker will enter the Kingdom of Heaven without doing that workk as commanded.
