[quote author=FutureDecisions post=96002531] per hour on how many RPM? my product don't need to be charged. as individual power generator we make it possible without charging. we found our self in a country, where talented men watch opportunity passes. i need assistant to start producing electric car in Nigeria. Instead of people to start buying costly electric cars, my company can convert Nigerian's current petrol and diesel card to electric car. Instead of charging the car, I will convert your current petrol car into recycling charging electric car, the same with heavy duty vehicle.

While this is commendable we need to put in place a lot to make it work. Stable electricity, good roads. Driving an electric car into a pothole filled with water is the beginning of the end of that car

Charging stations are very necessary.
Without a reliable charging station, it will be bad idea BUT i can almost bet that Hyundai probably have a plan already on how to install charging stations . . . .

Nice development, but something like this is not meant for today's Nigeria, may be future nigeria, that's if it has been judged by developed country.

The fact that you don't have electricity in your village doesn't mean other people don't have electricity.

How do you watch TV in Nigeria? With lantern?

If den hand over Nigeria to you ipobs, Nigeria go just slide back to stone age.

please read the post again.

don't you see where he said charging points will be created across the city.

meaning even if you don't have light and you can't afford to buy a generator. you can always go to the charging point where there's going to be constant light to charge.

of course people are going to be paying but it will reduce the over dependent on oil price by motorists.

even if you're going to be using generator, instead of buying fuel for both your car and gen. you will only be buying for generator. then use your generator to charge your car and for other things.

this will lead to relatively decrease in demand for petrol which will force the market to reduce the Price.

economics101

sometimes always try to look at the big picture..playing devil's advocate all the time won't do any good
You'd buy much more fuel than you'd ordinarily have bought prior as you'd need to turn on the Gen much more than you'd ordinarily have.

Everything would still balance themselves out in the end.

Nigeria has no business with electric cars for now. Enough of the eye service.

We're still tackling the very basic issues.

Crawl before you leap.

It's misplaced priority because the spending power isn't there among the populace.... disposable income is low.. ..how many ppl can buy tokunbo cars talkless of electric....
that is a problem out of many, plus the fact that you can't drive the car outside lagos.

but for lagos, though wealth is not evenly distributed but people way fit afford to buy more than an electric car dey. if those people can buy it, they should. that's something.

besides , no be lagos state government dey produce the car. na private enterprise. Bugatti is not meant for everyone, they are only producing for the few that can afford it. if Bugatti as a private enterprise is still in business, why should electric car be out of business.

Lagos is only partnering with some org to create charging points so that the market can be favorable for electric cars so that those that can afford the car can use it. the more the car is still in business even if only few people that are using it the more tax to be paid by electric car producer to lagos government. so why is it a misplaced priority and to who??
economics102

the fact that we and our friends can't afford something doesn't mean it's worthless. in Nigeria 99% can't afford a private jet but there are hangers across the country for the 1%.
sometimes you need to stop perceiving things poverty mentality

Those that can afford it are soon robbed of it.... b4 buying wealthy man stuff u need to check ur safety by checking ur environment. Driving bugatti in a neighbourhood of only okadas isn't safe.... lagos is still mostly poor.

It's not poverty mentality it's wisdom....

Was it manufactured in Nigeria ?
If not, then there’s no reason to clap.
We’ll still have to import with Dollars. Not creating jobs and not good for our economy
Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Nigeria are using the former Volkswagen of Nigeria assembly plant at Ojo along Lagos-Badagry Expressway.
They assemble many models of Hyundai from Semi-Knocked Down Kits. That is where the launch took place.

Guy don't tell you don't know that Stallion group has been assembling Kia, Hyundai and Honda in Nigeria for some time now?

That why a new Accord from Stallion is about N16mln last I checked in 2019, while Camry which is imported was N26mln as at then. Meanehile in America accord and carry are priced almost the same.
