There are so many brands. I dont like the performance of those oils that cost N2500 - N3500 for 4 litres. My car is sluggish at start ups in the morning with those type of oil. I am very ok with Coastal. Please let's stick to the topic 1 Like |

Some people use road-side oil to service their cars. I know a guy who buys unbranded engine oil for his two cars BMW and Honda Accord, the cars still move smoothly without issues. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mobil 1 5w 30 (imported) cost about 12k I would be switching to the Nigerian produced 5w30 to support the naira in my next scheduled maintenance PS: Nigeria Mobil formerly restricted customers to 20 w50 and 0 w40 but I guess they have realised customers clamour for other variants. The Nigeria mobile 5 w30 comes with a green cap on the gallon. 1 Like |

The new one uses Mobil XHP and it's N3,600 but the old one uses GOF oil and it costs N3,000 and this is more in volume than the mobil 1 Like |

I use total 20W50 both for my Hyundai accent, my wife's kia Picanto and Hiace bus. Though Hyundai recommends shell oil. |
