ImpregnaTor:
The goal keeper suit this country just fine

Nigeria don't deserve anything good
Those goals were never his faults. It was purely the defense

If Super Eagles had won, Rohr and Yobo would have been taken the credit. Now that 'L' happened, it is only natural that Yobo along with Rohr take part of the blame.
Nonsense!

This statement might sound logical to you because you have heard it stated before by others, but it is pure nonsense!

Sebi una use expatriate take do keeper
The answer to that position is to search inward for raw talents and find good trainers to give internationally standard training to them so they can have the needed tools to compete. The likes of shorunmu, Enyeama Peter rufai all were discovered locally afterall. These days na so so onyibo we Dey pack full our team. We never chichumchin
You know!
It's funny that we're now inviting oyibo boys into our team and Germany is now having black boys too!

Who was in goal post when Sierra Leone was 4-0 down? Of course, Maduka Okoye. You see, this young inexperienced GK was in post because Akpeyi is injured and perhaps he did well in training.

The truth is that a boy can't give an adult performance. Even now, he may require a good psychologist to overcome this bad experience and be mentally prepared for return leg in Freetown on Tuesday.

In any case, if the formation was changed from attacking in 1st half to defensive in 2nd half given 4-1 lead, Maduka would have been covered while he gains valuable African football experience but Rohr and Yobo sat there like statues. Yobo in particular being an experienced defender would have given critical defensive tips to the gaffer to earn his money but I don't know ...
I don't know why they started using balogun in that defense, infact all the defenders are useless!

I bow for the entire team and the coaching staff.

This is not just about goalkeeping. The defence is weak. The midfield is weak. The Coach is a disaster. The NFF is incompetent. The whole management needs complete overhaul.
Even if you overall the nff, coach and players, nothing will work. The whole country is a disaster waiting peace to happen in every little opportunity.

Maduka chopped a barrage of goals as well for his Dutch club last weekend, so this performance isn't a surprise to me at all. SexyJoe kuku tell us make we pray say make he no turn basket yesterday, but alas he did.. Lol
Re: Maduka Okoye : Continue As Nigeria's Goalkeeper? by Gamesmart:
Honestly, the IQ of Nigerian "yoot" is unbelievably low.

The more you see them talk and analyse on NL, the more this is confirmed.

Fooooooolish people thinking they are "analysts" when all they are doing is emotionally lash out.

Even if a keeper concedes 12 goals in a match, that in itself is not proof that the keeper is not good. Someone with the required threshold IQ (not even with super IQ) will instead look at the conditions of each goal and then try to understand what proportion of the goals was the fault of the keeper.

Idiotic outfield players trying to dribble in their last third (because they don't think they should respect their opposition) and then losing the ball when the defence is light, hence leading to the opposition scoring, is not something to blame the keeper for.

Defenders not closing down opposition shots in Box 18 is not something to blame the keeper for.

Sharp deflections that results in goal is not something to blame the keeper for.

But our NL resident idiiiiots will say "Ah, he conceded 4 goals, what a shyt keeper!". Low IQ people.

As for coaching staff, those with high IQ blame coaches for poor selection, poor playing patterns and repeated series of wrong actions/inactions over a number of games, not from just one game because they are getting emotional with disappointment.

You can tell players all the excellent things and they go on the pitch and still disappoint you in one match. No coach has the power to crack open people's heads and hold their brain to control it. It is even worse for any coach training black players, as these tend to have low IQ and like to be flashy.

Fooooolish, low IQ armchair "analysts" boku for NL.

I won't blame the goalkeeper the whole blame should go to the coach and the sloppy defenders.

Yobo is not even qualified to be a super eagles coach he doesn't have any coaching experience or a coaching license amaju pinnick doesn't know anything.

I didn't watch the match, so I don't know what really happened.

But honestly, this is actually hard to swallow. Throwing away a 4-1 lead just like that, especially to Sierra Leone, on our own pitch, is just embarrassing.

Wth all the names on our team, from Osimhen playing in Serie A to Chukwueze playing in La Liga, to Iwobi playing in the English Premier League, this is nothing but a disaster.

Even Command Secondary School Ibadan will whip these Sierra Leoneans by at least 5 goals.

Which back,
Na so kepa continue to make Chelsea defense looks poor, until Mendy made us realize where the real problem lies.
Thiago Silva made the huge difference. Kepa is poor but Silva brought sanity to the backline

Or was it the uncoordinated back line that was to blame
even if backline bad, there are keepers who prove themselves when their defenders mess up, not this one,
we really need to stop looking at mixed bred and oyibo people and look inwards, they abound in the national league...we were exporting players in the past now we are just importing nonsense

After watching today's super chickens game. I'll rather face a firing squad, get my testicles completely shattered with a hammer and get my skin pilled off with a razor blade than watching the super eagles play ever again. They are mad.
I can relate to your pain.....
I stopped watching super eagles way back.....
After they lost to this same Sierra Leone's team in a world cup qualifier.........
They were beaten by a lone goal and that ensured that they couldn't go to the world cup that year

Just when are we going to get it right ?[/quotePolitics won't allow us zone the match to a state with a better stadium with a standard pitch.A small stadium with substandard pitch like Samuel Ogbemudia dat is meant for Bendel Insurance FC matches in Division 2 league is now hosting super eagle's matches. If you had watched the match yesterday,u wud av seen how local de viewing was.I was ashamed of my country, not only because we drew de match in a dramatic way,but because of how local de whole scene was.NTA too,dia camera is de one used by PA Owo wen he newly established de first TV station in Africa.Shame on NTA! Shame on Benin stadium!! Shame on Amaju Melvin Pinnick!!!

I saw his performamce today, which was just below par, I think we should still be on the look out for good goal Kepler's with Nigeria blood or look inwards, we are really lacking in that department of recent...I am waiting to see the osigwe guy...

What you all think ?
The defense is the issue of the team. I wonder how we will have two coaches as ex defenders and we're still suffering defensively!?
