You are required to book appointment for all applicants including your children. They are separate applicants

From the embassy website.

Each applicant must have a separate booking / registration. Minors applying for their visa together with their parents do not need a separate appointment.

Please I want you to explain better.
I applied for appointment early january 2020, then i was heavily pregnant, gave birth 22 january but while applying i did not add i was with child cos i haven't given birth, now he's more than 10months old, didn't apply for him either, thought mine would cover for both of us.
What should i do??
Please help a sis.

You have nothing to worry about, your appointment will cover for you both because he's a minor. Just make sure, on the day of your appointment, you have his application documents + his passport with you. You will submit your application and his own too

House, please I am trying to apply for the family reunion for my wife and three kids that are all minor.

It seems I only need to apply for appointment date for only my wife with only her passport details. Can anybody please help me confirm that this is the right thing to do? I guess the children details will be in the form that will be filled and taken to the Embassy on the day of the interview.

Thanks for taking a time to answer my enquiries.

Since they are all minors, just apply for your wife. On the day of her appointment, they will accept all four applications

These officials at the German embassy believes everyone engages in forging documents. I got a mail today that documents verification has been completed, but was asked to submit a new affidavit of bachelorhood as the first one was forged. And this has to be submitted before 20th of December.
Now I have lost my father since October, my mother can’t read nor write, in fact my tradition does not permit her to leave the house until after burial.
Who else can sign such affidavit for me?
Please advice

As long as you've not gone for yours, you don't need another one for him. They'll attend to you both at once

Hello, The year of birth on my WAEC certificate is different from the year of birth on my passport. same date, same month but different year. Do you think this is something that could be a problem during my interview? Because the WAEC certificate is part of the checklist for family reunion visa. And if so is there anything I can do to resolve this? Please help!!!! Thanks in advance!

Was this your experience?

This is what I saw on the German Embassy website:
"Each applicant must have a separate booking / registration. Minors applying for their visa together with their parents do not need a separate appointment."

https://service2.diplo.de/rktermin/extern/choose_realmList.do?locationCode=lago&request_locale=en

I just want to confirm this with the experience of those who have applied for family reunion before with their children who are minors.

Since this information is on such important official document, you can't leave anything to chance. I will advise:
- Commence a process to fix this with WAEC
- Go swear an affidavit in a Nigerian court deposing that the year on the WAEC is a wrong one and that you have already commenced a process for correcting it. So, while you wait for a corrected version, you are covered with the affidavit.

your mum should despose an affidavit of bachelorhood.there should be illiterate jurate on it,meaning she can't read and write.so she can thumbprint.

I am "the spouse" in Germany. And no, I am not a blue card holder.

To be honest, I really don't know why it took so long. Waiting for appointment and documents verification take most of the time. After verification is confirmed, it takes an average of 2 to 3 months.

OK. Thanks for your response and please forgive my presumption.

Hello Sam8850.

I just registered in the blue card stuff now and I'm ask to verify my credential when i clicked, it came up with verify my professional experience and verify my qualification.

Please i would like to know the one that is more important and is it the two verification that attract 29 euros?

Thanks

Sam8850:
Hello all and welcome to this thread. This new year, I believe a lot of people have resolutions and plans they intend to achieve this year and for the future. I am a strong believer of the saying "Knowledge (the right information) is Power" hence having the right information from peoples experience and legit sources can lead to the achievement of our goals.

Now, for those of us who are intending to migrate to Germany for work or family re-union purposes, it is very vital to get the right information on processes and guidance to successful acquiring of your visum (visa).

Here we go, first it will be very important to visit the German Consulate official website, try to know legit site as opposed to third party, clone sites or random Google site results. The official site of the German Consulate in Nigeria is https://nigeria.diplo.de, there you can find a lot of information regarding types of visas, booking appointment and requirements.

I am currently processing my Work Visa (entry visa for Blue Card) at the Consulate, I had my interview on 19th November 2018 and I await the approval of my visa. Also, at the same time I'm looking to begin process of a family re-union visa for my wife and 1year old son, interviews have been booked for both in March 2019.

I believe there are Nigerians out there in Germany who have gone through this process in the past few years that can share their experience with us, which is always helpful. I have questions and well as I can answer questions of my journey to this stage, I have also been able to share and answer questions on other threads that can help.

So lets begin this journey by helping each other one question and answer at a time for the right information is power that will help us achieve our goals.

Thank you.

The one i saw had 2017 on it and this is 2020, so I thought there will be a new form. Moreover, the naira has depreciated drastically, so i do not know how much the application and verification fee will be now
