Umahi is going to APC for his selfish interests.

In 2019, he was so much pained that PDP picked Peter Obi ahead of him.

Now, he knows that if the Presidential/VP ticket of PDP goes to the South East, Peter Obi has the first right of refusal.

I am saying this, Igbos should forget about APC presidential ticket in the APC. It will be an herculean task. If the Yorubas who have always given APC majority of their votes are finding it difficult to get the ticket from the kaduna mafias, how much more a new Igbo arrival?

However, it is good for democracy, Igbos will now have their votes spread across APC and PDP, instead of giving PDP a block vote.

That's what we've been doing in the south west, and it has given us some bargaining rights.
