When the going gets tough, the tough gets going indeed.
Nigeria is a failed State, sadly her economic adversities are a product of high-level dynamic enterprise that cannot be manipulated by prophet or pseudo- technocrats.
Only war economies run by failed state that operate a “war economy” become a huge segment of the 160 million people has been disempowered.
There is also a legal vacuum and this has forced many Nigerians to adopt coping strategies of survival of the fittest.
It is illicit businesses that thrive because law and order are not enforceable in our land (apologies to the apostles of the rule of law).
Nigeria's direction is worst than a failed state, Regionalism is the only way left to salvage what's left of that country, lack of economical, developmental, diverse governing strategies and social competition is wrecking havoc. The more dormant Abuja becomes the better for the country.

I have read some reviews about @money121 here and I was at times doubtful if they were real! Well, I decided to give him a try on my roofing project and here is my story;

I contacted @money121 (CEO Imran roofing) on WhatsApp to let him know about my project and he asked for the roofing plan which I sent and he gave me a rough estimate pending when the wood work is completed and the actual measurement can be done. Two weeks after the wood work was done and he then asked me to send him actual measurement so he can get load the right quantity of materials to my site in Ekpoma Edo state. I sent a local guy around Ekpoma who is also a roofer to take the measurement and he sent me the sqm.

Sending the measurements to @money121 he told me those measurements where just too much judging from the plan I sent him earlier. This arouse my interest in @money121! Because he could have charged me with those measurements and no one will know about it. He offered to send his boy down to Ekpoma to take the measurement and behold his measurement was way less than what the other roofer sent!.

We agreed on the payment terms that I pay a deposit of 2.3M before he will load the materials to Ekpoma but I forgot I have 1M daily limit in my bank. After I transferred the 1M to him, I told him of the situation, to my surprise @money121 loaded the materials that morning and sent them to Ekpoma with his boys without waiting for me to complete the initial deposit of 2.3M.

Today the roofing is completed and I would want to let everyone know that @money121 (Imran roofing) is one of the most honest Nigerian businessman I have seen and his professionalism is second to none....keep up the good work @money121 you have just won me over!

Good respected Experts,

Please how many bags of cement will be enough to tile bungalow of 5 bedrooms with 2 living rooms, and 5 toilets/bath. Total square meters is roughly 600 square meters.

Thank you.

The next thing was attack on Nairaland.

Today, I know a lot of us who built ‘Ile gogoro’ to impress others would have learnt one lesson or the other right now.

You can’t impress anyone.

Keep it simple.

Those wey stories enter are with friend & relative relationship. BHN, Chisco, GPC, TSL, Dangote, BUA, GIG, The Young, to mention few haulage & Logistics company in Nigeria, their fleet are brand new truck & cars every year in & out.

Many of the trucks branded in their name don't belong to them they are own by individual, there is no family or friends relationship in it, it will always succeed.

Presently, we shout Cement is high, but Dangote & other manufacturers said they did not increase costt of Cement, marketers actually did reason is logistics cost of truck repairs &. Maintenance is high they can not bear it any longer. Truck of ₦24m giving to distributors by Dangote to pay installment is now ₦35m, truck registration ₦70k now 95k, tyres of ₦65k now 90k. Truckers adjusted immediately things change,

Logistics is 1st consider in pricing of goods & services, Property such as real Estate in Nigeria change over years not with immediate situation, investing take over 10years or more before you recoup investment. I consider it a retirement investment.
/
We are saying the same thing but in a different way. Just a little prodding and logistic problems which you never mentioned in your previous post surfaced. I bet you more challenges will prop up if pushed more. Those are the "stories" I talked about that will enter after an investor buys a truck and s/he will be left holding an empty bag. It gets worse if the investor is in diaspora and waiting for remittance. Many people have been through this hell before.

Anyone who wants to commit money in Nigeria should be willing to relocate full time to dig it out. Otherwise, you will be feeding others with nothing to show on your side. Business owners in Nigeria are wrestling with all manners of principalities to stay afloat, na person wey dey abroad go just sit down and owo dey enter. It ain't easy like that.

The way things are going in this country I won’t build without attaching income earning potential.

So a two bedroom flat on 1.5 floors and a one bedroom flat downstairs.

If it is 'a share' they are after, maybe that can be arraigned but you will be shocked to hear that the moment you start your Refuse Management Company, one 'Big Man Politician' from somewhere will suddenly realise you are making money from it and then decide to use his children or a front to setup a sham Refuse management Company and INSIST that ONLY THAT COMPANY can do refuse Management Business in that state, and your Company is ruined.

The difference between "lobbying " in 9ja vs Lobbying in abroad is..

In the western world, say you want legislatures to massage the law to accommodate your business interest or you need the municipal to change the zoning law, you could hire a "lobbying " firm to "straighten out the lawmakers" have them looking in the right direction.

The Place rezoned or the law tweaked then you move on with your project- money well spent on the lobbying firm.

In 9ja, they hold you hostage. No kidding! Even if you massage the current government. New government comes in, they want more. One of the sure ways out of this is to align yourself with a political godfather or a well respected traditional ruler and " pay your dues".

In Nigeria where a government will approve a building plan, people erect their building, few years later, they come around and declare the same building they approved as an illegal structure.

Opportunities abound in Nigeria but like I tell everyone.. if you want to invest in 9ja, forget about all those Tedx talks, all those seminars, consumer reports, Bloomberg, all those things you learnt in economics 101, edx short courses, you name it....

Investing in 9ja requires a boots on the ground, bare knuckle approach. Don't use your "book sense", use your " street sense ".
Use A " bare knuckle " economics while investing in 9ja.

Hello House.

I have just finished doing the oversite on my foundation (German floor). 5" thick .

However I noticed , I will need some adjustment during block forming.

My question is, can a wall run outside of the foundation ground partition ? This is because I intend to steal a foot space .

Thanks
