Yes, they balloted on Akyeam Oda and Koforidua.

The 3 Akyeam groups were not United, the Akyeam Abuakwa (Nana Addo's people) voted against Akyeam Oda and that's how come Koforidua won the bid.

But Nana Addo is cooking something for the "future Akyeam Region".. I suspect him paa. The way the man is developing Akyeam Kyebi(his Hometown) I think he is putting things in place to make Akyeam Kyebi a future Regional Capital.
