As a military commander, you are expected to give a good fight, and withdraw when you can no longer continue. Only a very foolish Soldier or commander, allows the enemy to capture or kill him in a hopeless situation when he has an escape route.

Ojukwu gave a good fight and withdrew when he could no longer continue. Cowards dont fight wars. If you Nigerians were hoping that Ojukwu would stay to be captured and killed, so as to give Nigeria sweet victory, sorry but Ojukwu wasnt that foolish
