It has been almost 9 years that the Lion of Biafra passed on. This is my tribute to him

Eze Igbo gburu-gburu, Ikemba Nnewi, Dike na agha.

When all others chose to bow to the caliphate, you chose to stand up and declare the freedom of your people

When all others chose the easy route of slavery, you rose up like a man to lead your people in a war of liberation

Despite being outnumbered, outgunned and under very difficult situations, you kept the dream of an independent home land for your people alive for 3 years

You fought when others surrendered without a fight, you stood up when others kneeled, you went for freedom when others went for slavery.

Today, you have been vindicated. Nigeria turned out to be what you said it would be, an unworkable failed state.

You failed in your mission to get us freedom but nobody can deny you did your best

Adieu Ohamadike, 9 years on.

The man that led his people to war and ran away at peak of war. Later came back after the war, went to meet Buhari in Daura to pledge his support for one Nigeria. Summary of his life.

Why do igbos celebrate this dude?
Do you know that he deliberately refused international aid for his starving subjects so he could take pictures of hunger stricken igbos to gain sympathy. He willingly sacrificed 3 million (1/4th of then igbos) people for that purpose.
He later wanted to be president of the same Nigeria he hated, but his people chosed a Fulani man instead. Lol

Does this story sound right to you? He held up aid to get pictures? Do you really think it is difficult to get pictures of starving children? There is no war now but I can get pictures of starving children, not talk about when there is full blown war

The 3 million people who died were killed in the name of "one Nigeria"

How can you know why Igbos love Ojukwu, you have never come close to fighting for an independent home land

What you Nigerians do is to answer the name Lord Lugards girlfriend gave you, and claim the country Lugard created, as your own

I dont know any coward who fights a three year war against a larger opponent, and if he sent 3 million Igbos to their early graves, isnt it Igbos that should be pained about that? Why cry more than the bereaved?

Don't honour the idiot with a reply.
He is from a tribe that has been defeated physically, mentally and spiritually by the fulani. He is just transferring frustration

He fought for three years before running away. Most Nigerians dont even fight to even talk about getting to the stage of running away
