CSS used to be confusing but with CSS 3,flexbox and Grids I can tell you css is no more confusing.

I have a video download of one senior lecturer from one of the Universities in US. If you send me your email address, I will send the download to you. It is about 700MB. I think CSS is interesting. Is it complicated? I am not sure. But, I am sure CSS is very very interesting.

Beside this download that I have, there are several videos on Youtube, very very good videos that will teach you CSS.

Wow, OP css is simply the easiest programming language out there. Quite simpler than HTML because u have to apply html in a broad range of languages from php to JavaScript to python. If you want to really learn css, learn the basics of it and go learn bootstrap 4. You'll enjoy it.

You can write your CSS codes on the same page with your Html, or in a different directory.

CSS is not a programming language it's a "description" ot stylesheet language. You use it to describe the properties of the elements in you HTML document.

HTML itself isn't also regarded as a programming language but rather as a Markup Language.

From the technologies you're learning, it seems you want to be a web developer. You'd still have to learn JavaScript and understand how the DOM work.

It'll take time to learn all these to the point of being proficient enough to demand money for your work, be patient.

So many misconceptions here

Css is not a programming language it is an html styler

Html is also not a programming language. It’s a markup language.

If you don’t know css you might not be a good frontend engineer but you u can still learn a backend language and kick ass (python, ruby, php, golang, c#, c++, e.t.c)

You can also try using bootstrap to reduce your css usage, also people mostly copy css code, check template sites and download beautiful templates you love and edit their css files to suit your task, no need starting from ground up.

Keep trying bro. It took me a long time before I could learn CSS. CSS Flex especially. I had to download more videos that had more to do with the practicals than the actual lesson.
This one you're complaining heavily because of markup CSS, I wonder what you would do when you venture into the actual programming(JavaScript e.t.c).

Learn responsive web design then, like bootstrap or material design, also utilize your developer web tool to check the styling of your website on various screen sizes.

Unless you're tryna become a fullstack software engineer, then i'd advise against going too deep into css. Just learn the basics needed for good functionality, at least desktop-based.
Making a web app, for example, look good on all devices is one hell of a job, but yes its very possible 100%. you just gotta devote time to it, and you'll see yourself becoming a front-end engineer in the long run during that task.
So pick your poison.... back end or front end or both . . .

Lol learning desktop based css only isn't really advisable as far as I'm concerned, alot of people access websites with their mobile phones, so ur website must be very responsive, infact as a web developer, I make sure d mobile version is to a very large extent interesting, accessible and easy, but desktop versions are always very easy, so I don't really stress myself over that
