Does anyone know how one can make corrections to his/her driver's license?

Been trying for a year now and the FRSC keep responding that the process has been temporarily stopped.

You can't ditch the old and just make a new license all together, as they will say your name is on the system already. And you can't correct the old one meaning it is useless as a means of identification.

Please if you are in some way connected to the individuals at the top of the FRSC, please help us ask them when this thing will be opened so corrections can be made.

Also let them know that the individuals managing their contact channels and social media handles, are non responsive

Not sure frsc driving license website has provisions for editing for now,possible solutions is to obtain court sworn affidavits which will explain the difference.
People to worry about in explaining to at any stop over check points would have been Nigeria police(cos them no dey listen to any verifiable explanations na to threaten and extort be their grand tricks) but we all gat to thank God for #endsars becos our Egyptians are all drowned in the red sea(at least for now)

I think you can do that when next you go for renewal of the licence.

That's the time I tried and was told I can't... That the process is initiated at Abuja.

Maybe things have changed now. When I went for renewal of my licence, I was asked if I needed to make any changes.

When was this?

Once you are approaching expiry, visit their office and let them know... There is a procedure to it

Alternatively, you can report now... But there will be renewing your license

Make an "Affidavit for Correction of Name on Driver's License" duly signed and sealed at the Court of law stating the name that was erroneously inputted and the right one as well.

You can either take that to FRSC office to correct the error or use the affidavit as a temporary correction along with your license when the need arises.
