Zamfara Goldfields Don’t Belong To Government – Nuruddeen Isa, Commissioner by Ricoluv(m): 12:01am On Nov 19, 2020
The Zamfara State Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Solid Minerals, Dr. Nuruddeen Isa, said the state government did not own any gold field.

Addressing journalists in his office on Wednesday, Isa said, the state government was not directly involved in mining activities as reported by the media.

He said, “The state government doesn’t own any portion of the goldfields throughout the state and is not involved in mining activities.”

The commissioner maintained that the state government only used to buy the gold from the illegal miners in order to prevent the commodity from being smuggled out of the country or sold out to bandits.

“What the state government does is to buy the gold so that it doesn’t fall into wrong hands who in return sell it outside the country and purchase weapons for the bandits.”

He stressed, however, that the state government has currently banned the mining activities in the state, adding that, “anybody who wants to venture into mining activities should obtain a permit from the federal government”.

The commissioner said mineral resources belonged to the federal government, as such, anybody who wants to partake in mining activities must obtain a license from the Federal government.

You buy gold from illegal miners to discourage them from selling to bandits...in other words, you know the illegal miners but you chose not to arrest them! Yet, they run to arrest people for illegal oil bunkering in the South!

Bunkering henceforth should be allowed and commended!

When u have a group of excommunicated, barbaric, outdated and expired people leading u and somehow they are successfully fooling everyone.

You mean this parasitic north are getting paid for a resource that belongs to one Nigeria with Niger Delta wealth.

Gold we don't see

Does it also mean the fulani government are at the beck and call of these audio jihadists explorers as a ready market just because it doesn't want them to sell and finance terrorists.

Won't the fg be taken advantage of in these sales since it is basically the one begging to buy anything they have to sell at whatever price.

What business does fg have with becoming a buyer of "zamfara gold" since same fg didn't classify it as a resource for one Nigeria.

If Fg is so concerned about the gold not falling into the wrong hands why not sanitize the sector to license and track who explores, sells it.

Oh i forgot if Fg does this it would simply become a private sector which the quota system parasites can't do without.

They need Niger Delta money to keep buying their non existent gold.

The north is the problem of this country but some politically correct fo0ls would tell you otherwise.

The kind of laws, loopsided wastes, quota system, and ideas they keep churning just to appease the north is why we are where we are.

This pathetic undefendable acts are so pathetic at times you can't even defend any rationality in it than just to accept the 4th century north has to be carried along in quota system at every one detriment.

Please they should remind us how far they have discovered the oil in the northern desert after invoking billions of naira worth some capital projects.

They should remind us how far they have gone with those refinery they shipped to kaduna desert which billions was used to to rehabilitate under buhari.

They should remind us how far the railway they linked to Desert Niger has benefitted this country.

They should remind us how far the electricity they are shipping to desert Chad helps this country.

They should remind us how far the quota system Sharia cjn has helped this country after turning the law against the law to suit a Sharia northern terrorist.

They should remind us how far the war against Boko Haram which has gulped half the wealth of Niger Delta resources in a phony northern Islamic jihad.

It cost billions to re erect the "fence of University of maiduguiri"

The north has taken all the security bases to it's desert yet it is still negotiating with mere bandits with Niger Delta money.

The north has taken all the offices of the federal government yet it can't battle its own security.

The northern jihadists don't pay VAT for cattle rearing which is the biggest occupation in the north, but they get VAT from even a kiosk that gets tasked down south.

The fulani government had the effontry to seek the building of ruga settlement with federal funds for free to them.

Gej built almajiris special school's for north with federal money because of its own stupidity to control it's outbreed

I can go on but i think these parasites are cursed beyond curse to exist in same country with

The handling of this Zamfara goldmine will cause serious problems in the country, I foresee.
It doesn't make sense when you say oil mining belongs to government, while gold belongs to illegal miners. We are too advanced for this!

It's a fact that 70% of the intricate situations we have in Nigeria is caused by the Northerners. They don't want equality but to dominate.

Nigeria cannot stand this!!
