Umeahi should be ashamed of himself for running away from his party because of a fellow governor even when he himself is the chairman of the south East governors forum. No politician in Nigeria has the interest of any region at heart. Umahi had more say in PDP than he will have in APC. Those before him will not allow him. Once his tenure is over, he will know what direction to go. The same goes for Wike and other governors. That’s why they run to the senate to remain relevant. Who would have thought that Dariye, Mbadinuju, Chime, Ohakim, etc will be irrelevant and going through their ordeals in Nigeria after they lived like kings as governors?
