The NFF has no money to put anywhere, The loud mouthed Sunday Dare has put unnecessary pressure on Pinnick and a possible wedge on his relationship with Rohr

Where has the nff been getting money from since the Independence of Nigeria? Of course the government will pay for the sack. One senetor can go and dig that money out of their backyard.

I don't know why some people are scared of taking that leap,I don't know why many are afraid of moving away and moving forward from a spent Gernot Rohr.

I am afraid to say this, if Rohr doesn't go, we should as well bid 2022 world cup bye bye. Remember the qualification format defers this time.

I remember 2years back telling people not to be carried away by the results he was churning out (those slim and unconvincing victories). But Nigerians were more interested in the immediate results rather than a long term overall progress of the team.

His team picked and got stunted. If care is not taken we'll end up having another generation of talented underachievers. Remember the average age of our players is 24. It will be 26 in 2years time and we don't look ready to get the best out of them.

It is either the Man Rohr is made a chief scout or relieve of his duty

Abi o,we can even frustrate d man by employing an indigenous coach over him,na sharply e go resign grin grin

Haha like the government have been paying for the 'prompt' payment of coaches?

Moreover Pinnick has said that the NFF has been taking care of over half of its bills

Coaches come and go. Rohr has done his part. It is time for a change! Keshi won the nation's cup yet he was sacked when his team was underperforming. What has Rohr won? Rohr is the only coach that has stayed this long with our national team winning only a nation's cup bronze! Ranieri was sacked at Leicester, despite making history, Mou at Chelsea, Poch at Tottenham e.t.c. even Wenger at Arsenal so who the bleep is Rohr!

No they don't. They beg the government before every tournament. The nff have to go to court for their mismanagement of the money they got from the government before the world cup. So which bills are they taking care of?

Nothing oo.

Thought I must have missed something during the time I went off occasionally to give the eyes a break.

What is expected from a clueless Musa?

At least, prior to the world cup, he was on fire at CSKA.

See that is what I don't like about Rohr. When Musa wasn't playing at his club he wasn't starting but now that he doesn't even have a club, Rohr is still playing him. When Keshi played a young club less guy he believed in people were accusing him of accepting bribe but those same people say we shouldn't criticize white angels from Europe

Off the top of my head, Amunike, Ogunbote or even the Sierra Leonian dude that out coached Rohr in back to back matches. They are all better coaches.

Pitso might consider us but Nigerians might not want a south African leading our team. He is clearly one of the best on the continent though.

If the NFF want a low budget foreign coach, they should look that Madagascar coach...the man has bigger balls than Rohr...

NFF sure as hell can't afford Pitso. Dude is earning $270k a month at Al Ahly.
Don't know much about Ogunbote but Amuneke has been sacked in his last 2 jobs at senior level.
Anyway, from what I'm hearing(and it's been popping up on a few sites) Rohr looks to be going.
Amuneke is among the nominees to replace him.

Why?

African referees at the World Cup have done very well.

Don't generalize using these unfortunate beings okay?
ok, there will always be good ones that will perform well. I hope those ones remain the ones picked. But apart from bias, african referees have a problem of making costly mistakes too frequently. I have watched a good number of caf club and country games, it happens often in the caf club games. Maybe we need to fast track var to save some these annoying situations.

Ndidi go siddon bench tire grin
if you know ndidi very well, you will understand that he'll be back in that 11 ASAP. Ndidi does not thrive on skill or creativity or technique. He is a hardworker, and hardworkers hardly drop in form because their main skill is hardwork, sentiments aside, he'll be back that squad.

It is $120k a month sha but u are right about them not being able to afford it.

But Rohr got sacked from his last few jobs before us.

I am sure they won't go with ogunbote but I have been watching him for a while and I feel he is one of our best local coaches. Look how well Enugu played in CAF and the Oracle was responsible for the greatest comeback on Nigerian soil prior to last week.

That was a Giannis pick grin it kind of was bitter sweet because I feel he is a first round talent.

But outside getting drafted in the top 10, what Jordan got is the best u can wish for. He goes to a winning team where he can learn, grow and not worry about hiding his face everywhere he goes because his team is on another losing streak.

Also shout out to the othernaija boys who were drafted in the first round.

TEAMtalk can reveal that striker Ahmed Musa is hoping to secure a move back to English football in the coming weeks.

The Nigeria international is one of the more higher profile free agents currently available having left his former club Al Nassr last month.

Musa is understood to have interest from around Europe, but it is believed to be keen on having another crack at the Premier League.

Having only just turned 28, Musa believes he still has a lot to offer at the top level and that is evident given he cost Leicester £16m just a few years ago.

His time at the King Power Stadium did not going according to plan and after 18 months he was loaned back to his former club CSKA Moscow before moving to Saudi.

In his 58 appearances for Nassr, he scored 11 goals and provided 14 assists, helping the team win the 2018/19 Saudi league and Super Cup.

Now Musa’s representatives are talking with a host of clubs, including some in the Premier League.

We understand Crystal Palace, Newcastle, West Ham, Burnley and Sheffield United are amongst those who have been approached – but it remains to be seen if they will make an offer.

Musa also has interest from clubs in Spain, Italy and in Russia, where he has enjoyed success with CSKA earlier in his career.

N564Million, is a huge chunk of money, Enough to build a standard stadium.
However don’t forget a part of it goes to ‘’Jean’’ the physical trainee & The videographer.

NFF can’t say they are this broke cos they receive allowances from FIFA.
Millions of Dollars they received from FIFA and Billions budgeted by the FG before the World Cup proper is still unaccounted for.

If they can’t afford to pay him off, then let him be till his contract expires next AFCON.

Mikel before Mou Effect.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJUlZwJ0J34

Superb post but very heart breaking when you see how intelligent Mikel was. It was like he had eyes at the back of his head and knew what was happening at every inch of the field.

Worst part was that Mourinho did not need Mikel. Alex Ferguson had just transformed one of the bright young talents in football, CR7 into a World Class talent and his touch on Mikel would have been glamourous.

Mourinho did not want Ferguson getting another weapon of Football destruction and fought to scatter that Union.

The fact Ferguson flew to Norway repeatedly showed how much he envisioned a superstar in Mikel.

This was a painful trip down memory lane.

Classic video.

While watching this match, I exclaimed, "Maradona, have you seen how to play the 10 role."

Maradona was in the stadium that day to handover the touch to Messi but Mikel shone like a million stars that night.
