my redmi 9s came today.
but while updating some files. it started turning off on on itself.
and a display do pop up saying FIND DEVICE CLOSED UNEXPECTEDLY.
Who can help me out here pls
That's the display it gives b4 switching off

You must factory reset. Those set of phones have this issue. Xiaomi acknowledge it. First factory reset, it will not happen again.

New Updates just Rolled in on MIUI12

I usually charge around 8pm when I get home but lately I notice from 10-90 can go down in 30min while before from 100-98 take more like 20min.

hope the update go fix this Battery drain issue, lately my phone no de last me reach 24hr like when e been dey MIUI11

On my Redmi Note 7 the update make the battery drain faster very annoying

the problem is that, b4 I get to open factory reset option. It switches off fast. I've tried so hard but I couldn't do it

The phone switches off like 6 seconds of turning on. I can't even open settings quick b4 it goes off

Use key combination. Volume Up and power botten to reboot to recovery. Then wipe data

It is not a bug it is adaptive Charging. The phone fakes it to 100% but if you leave it for extra 30mins you will get the full 100%.

It is done that way for you not to have full charge cycles and ensure your battery lasts longer.

Not happening on the two RN7 units in my house. Probably check other factors other than update.

My advice for you is to return this phone, it is defective, you still have time.
